@@Valen_Wolf unfortunately I haven't earned enough for a second camera yet, but I think next year I'll be able to add a second plan. This year I managed to kill my phone, now it has pink stripes))))
I love watching you paint and you so know what you are doing. I have to admit I was waiting for when you would add water the whole time! Fascinating. You are an amazing artist. I hope to be one before I get too old to hold a brush. haha.
Thank you, my friend. I have not been learning for long. I have only been doing watercolors for 4 years, before this channel I was drawing hyperrealism with pencils. And watercolors were so hard for me, I literally suffered the first year)))) That is why the main thing here is patience and not giving up. This technique is called "dry brush", I even dried the paint a little))) It needs more. This technique is used by watercolorists - botanists to apply texture. Promer is plum, grapes, metal, rust, stone. You can create abrasions or the effect of wax on plum
easy don't take indigo, leave only ultramarine Aussie red - quinacridone gold indian red- burnt sienna + perylene violet perilene violet - you must to pay lavender - you must to pay witreria - madder rose + violet + titanium white
They don't need to be that neat. One stripe can stick out and the other one can be within the radius of the circle. If you noticed, I also evened it out in the video. But if you really want it super smooth, then masking fluid is a great idea 🤗
When you repeat the colors do you use a different color over each stripe or the same color but from the opposite end? I couldn’t really tell. Thanks for sharing! It’s really pretty and I will definitely be making one!
@@kimberlyearly8918 I write in the video what color I add at each step. Look, basically I add the same colors, but in the end I decided to add other colors in some stripes to balance our ball in color scheme. You can generally put these colors anywhere and even take others that you like more. For example, I like purple and green shades, I would try to draw another ball, but with other shades. But here you need to be careful and use a color scheme (triad or 4 = 2 pairs of complementary. There are standard color schemes, google them, they work perfectly. Or you can first try separately on a piece of paper how the colors combine. 🤪Sorry, I wrote a lot of text, I can't answer briefly🤣
I have a question, why do you wipe so much of your paint off on your paper towel before you put it on your paper? It seems like you are wasting so much paint.

That’s really pretty. I’ve liked the Skrim brand of metallic paints and a bauble would be fun to do. I guess any metallic or mica paint would work.
Yay! Thank you for doing a tutorial on this one!! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

Grazie per la dimostrazione...mi sembra più facile con il colore asciutto che con l'acqua...per me che sono principiante...proverò al più presto. 😊

@@LolaaquarellaThis is so helpful! Can you always add the gold no matter what the color scheme? (I’m really clueless.) Thank you!
@@juliecranford534 Well of course you can, it's better to add gold on dark colors. It shines better on them.
