Thank you for posting this! I am going to use the 550 tomorrow and this was a great way to scope out where I need to get off.

The bus you're riding on I believe is definitely the New Flyer DE60LFR hybrid articulated.

Thanks for posting this. Is there room if a rider has a suitcase?

You’re welcome! I don’t remember the overhead racks being that spacious, so I would suggest sitting on the bench seat in the back and holding your suitcase in front of you.

    All that regenerative braking...
    "rrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....RRRRRRRRRRRR...rrrRRRRRRRRR"
    *sudden silence*

We got those New Flyer articulated buses with RBS here in Nashville, as well. When I first heard that sound I thought something was wrong with the bus. It took me almost a year to learn about the whole regenerative braking/battery-under-the-floor thing.
(Side note: glad I ain't the only one who takes interests in the weird/disctinctive sounds of commercial vehicles!)
