He used IPS and not TFT. The original screen is better but is a AMOLED original screen. This screen remplacement is a LCD IPS and not original AMOLED

you can replace just the glass, since amoled has its touch sensors inside the oled pixels itself although you have to be extremely careful since one wrong move and it'll destroy the whole screen
