It's for a moment like this that I have spent 7 years fantasizing over and working for. I have come close a few times, but always fell short. I have tried over and over again, and it feels I have done everything I can at this point. I've had a functional relationship in the past which ended due to circumstances outside either of our control, so I know it's possible. But it's hard not to think that finding someone compatible and falling under the life circumstances to make it work is just random chance - fate as ordained by life. I still work on myself each day to ensure that I can give everything to my life partner when I meet them, but with each passing year it grows harder to even try to look for anyone anymore. I know this is a defeatist mindset which can be no good, but expression of my reality and feelings is just what this comment is. Why did I choose this video out of all others to write this? I don't know. Maybe it's because it's 1:32 AM on my last day of vacation I'm taking off from work and I wanted to leave my thoughts on something that resonated with me. In any case, well done on this video. You did a good job creating a believable character and setting to give us a nice fantasy. A fantasy that let's us pretend and feel relief for 16 minutes.
I know this is super late, but never give yourself up. You never know when you'll meet them, but they'll come around. I'm proud of you for working towards your goals and remember to keep yourself safe and healthy :3

A water pipe burst caused a flood in the row of computers that I normally sit at, so I moved to a different seat across the way. I sat in the seat she usually sat at. She saw the Rubik's cubes and notebooks I keep at my desk, as well as the RPG flash game I decided to play on a whim between calls. We are now happily living together and already making plans for marriage and a very long, healthy life ahead. Thank you, again, for your kind words.
update: yea... it turned out to be an abusive and manipulative relationship, so I couldn't stay with them. I supported them until they could move out and that was that
