  • Dandilions is a delightfully simple 2-3 player dice movement game from BoardGameTables.com. In the game players are going to use thier dice to move around the flower petals, placing their dice where they land. Points are scored for the number of dice on each petal and whoever controls the petal scores for the pips on their dice.

In the Dandilions board game, players will roll their dice and use the dice they roll to move their player piece around the flower petals. Scoring is a mixture of dice placement and area control. Every player scores for the dice they have on each petal, but the player that controls each petal scores for the pips on their dice. While the core mechanics of the Dandilions board game are simple, there is plenty of room for strategy. When you land directly on another player, you get to make the same movement again. When you place a dice on a petal, you move any dice of the same number from other players to an adjacent petal, and the more valuable petals have fewer spaces.
All in all, Dandilions is a simple to learn game with much more strategy than meets the eye.

    From the Publisher:
Transform into a dandelion, and float through clear blue skies on a pleasant breeze in this dice-rolling, area-majority game with a little direct-competition edge. Your quest is to find the best spots for your seeds to grow across a variety of vibrant, beautiful, and cozy gardens.
In Dandelions, players roll a group of dice, then choose one to move to a beautiful garden. Along the way, you can harness the power of the wind with three special actions - float, puff, and gust - to get the most points. The game ends after all the dice are used, and whoever receives the most victory points as combined from two different scoring methods wins.
We were provided with a copy of this game in exchange for our fair and honest review.

A 7.5/10 dry erase marker is way better than the golf pencil that games used to come with!
Thanks for the review, I might be playing this this weekend.

Question...I understand if there are 2 of the same die number on a pedal and you have to move your opponent's die to another pedal. If that new pedal has the same number, do you keep moving until something doesn't match? Good video by the way...

I don't think so, the way I read the rules, it's just a one time move so you can strategically move other players off of petals that you want, but it doesn't ripple.
