Why doesn't he name everyone in Great Yarmouth who has been convicted of drug dealing? A quick search shows up quite a number of very British sounding names, either with or wanted for drug related offences. No doubt the British drug dealers are part of his support base?
Perhaps he's concerned about the likelihood of unfair foreign competition impacting on the lifestyles of hardworking British drug dealers. I don't know what the situation is in Great Yarmouth, but perhaps this influx of foreign drug dealers is having a similar effect to what has happened in London where a relaxed pace of life with a day off on Sunday and early closing on Saturdays and Wednesdays is now a distant memory for the dug dealers there. I've heard that a lot of them nowadays can't even spare the time to attend meetings of their local masonic lodge or Rotary Club.
@@harveybrant3352 Well yes - I would guess that must be his thinking, that deporting the 'immigrant immigrant immigrant' drug dealer will pave the way for the decent British drug dealers prepared to take on a high risk business and who do not shirk their duty to work.

I had a conversation with a Reform supporter on Reddit and explained the distinction between an Asylum Seeker and an Immigrant. Despite my explanation below, he dismissed it and asserted that Faragé was correct, claiming I was talking nonsense. Faragé is a populist, and his statements are not always accurate or truthful. Additionally, I want to clarify that it is not illegal to cross the English Channel in a dinghy, regardless of what Faragé, Reform, or right-wing propagandist news outlets and newspapers say. Asylum Seeker: A person who has left their country and is seeking protection from persecution or human rights violations in another country. They must apply for asylum in the country they seek protection in, and their claim has not yet been legally determined. Asylum seekers have the right to not be returned to a place where they face a risk of persecution. Immigrant: A person who voluntarily leaves their home country and moves to another country to establish a permanent residence. Immigrants are protected against discrimination based on various characteristics, such as race, ethnicity, national origin, and citizenship.
Open to debate. Technically they are committing a criminal offence. They have paid a trafficker (a criminal) for their services i.e. to get them into the UK uninvited. The migrant is aiding and abetting a criminal. When at sea they can't claim asylum, i.e. they are not on UK soil. They are also when entering UK waters entering UK territory illegally without permission. Its not that straightforward I agree, and it does need challenging which Reform UK are doing as no one else is!
Perhaps someone should ask for a definition of "illegal migrant". I could think of one or two ways it could be defined but even in those cases, they'd still have to arrive in this country by some means and be processed.
The offender came from a cat 1 country which we have an agreement with. However since leaving the EU there are additional steps needed to report individuals including court cases..... Which as they have a backlog.... Etc etc
An illegal immigrant is someone who enters the country illegally, simple as that, someone who comes in other than through a legal entry point with the correct paper work.

War is not the only reason to claim asylum. A well founded fear of persecution is another one cited in the UN Convention on Refugees. Do the French escort them or just keep an eye on them in case they become endangered, as per international maritime law?

Asylum seekers MUST be held in secure accommodation until their case is heard. Instead they are housed in hotels and are free to roam about. Please tell me, is this right? Regarding stopping the boats when they leave France, UK boats (private contractors) can stop the migrant boats once they have left French waters and return them to France under UK escort. This is done under maritime law to save life at sea. The French have a duty to do this in their waters anyway, but they don't !
