That breakfast looked so good all u needed was some fried potatoes. I remember going camping 50 years ago and my aunt and uncle would cook breakfast and wake up the entire camping ground . The food taste so different out in nature. Your video brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you.

Y'all taught me alot about Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and now, I have landed here, once again, for Stone Mountain. I will be going there next weekend to camp and explore for our first family trip to that particular location! Good to see y'all enjoyed it there!

What a beautiful place, the camp sites look especially nice and spacious. I have great memories of setting up the tent in the dark with just the headlights.

Thank You Both for sharing this. My moms family live in Georgia, we went to visit them every year. We went to Stone Mountain every visit. We only went to see the laser show and shop. This part of Stone Mountain is another beautiful side of there. Love your alls adventures!!!

Great video! I remember camping as a kid in the 1970's, it never got old. The campgrounds in California had stone and cast-iron stoves built for burning wood, great for cooking on.
Camping looked like a lot of fun. I could smell the bacon from here. It looked so yummy

The place looks great, I love it when you ask if she was cooking breakfast and without even thinking about it, she no and said it's the man that cook when camping. That was so funny 😁 😂. I feel like visiting that place next year. This year I went to Helen Georgia and loved it.

Oooo you lucky ducks! Stone Mountain is gorgeous this time of year, the right mix of cool, dreary cozy camping weather without being over the top cold. Just the right sort where its cool enough to enjoy the campfire and a hot drink and tell stories. Reminds me of the old cove camping ground in Cherokee back when it would be empty in late fall and so spooky lol.

Welcome to Stone Mtn Park. I live just 4 blocks away and have been over every inch of the park. Lifelong resident. It's a special place for my family and me. I have an annual parking pass and drive through sometimes on the way to shopping just to enjoy the scenery. You should get 50% off entrance to the festivals and attractions. I was just in Pigeon Forge two weeks ago and in June and used my Stone Mtn Membership and received 50% off at Dollywood. I heard the Herschend Family is pulling out and will not be running the festivals and activities there. Hope that is not true as they have always done a great job managing the attractions. By the way, the leaves in the Smoky Mtns were stunning! After watching your video, I knew I had to go. I watch your videos all the time as I love the Smoky Mtns/PF area and try to visit at least 2 times a year. Hope you, Dawn, Chris and Mindy had a good time and will visit again.

Hey ya`ll we want to camp there too!! We camp in a Grand Design reflection 337rl . We love camping, especially in Pigeon Forge .
There is a relatively moderate hike up the west side of the mountain to the summit. There are some railings on the trail, but none at the summit. I like to hike up and ride the tram down.

@@asianprince8718 Yes it is. They do them all over the world. Stone Mountain does one in Oct. It is a Scottish festival. The games are Scottish games.
Dawn I love your tee shirt! We love the outdoors and camp a lot but we have a travel trailer so we get to take our granddaughters and their parents, lots of memories made camping. Besides, us old folks can’t do tents anymore we have to have some home comforts. 😂 We live in South GA close to the GA/FL State line. Stone Mountain is awesome! Go DAWGS❤️🏈🖤
I love those heaters and I use my electric blanket. That helps keep it warm in the tent. I love the tent where do I get one

also if you ever go back to Georgia this year and i know yall like christmas lights.. You should go to 1: Fantasy in lights at Callaway Gardens starts 18,Nov threw 02, Jan they are in pine mountain GA its $24.95 per person. you can drive threw or take tram like we have at Island. 2: lights of life its in marrietta ga $10.00 car they are open thanksgiving evening stop new years eve,, this one not christmas but love animals go to wild animal safari in pine mountain ga these were my husband son and i favorite places to go see and do b4 we moved here to pigeon forge..
We just finished tent camping at KOA in Townsend! Looks like y'all had a great time. Always enjoy seeing you guys hang out with Chris and Mindy. Maybe Dawn will hit the Spearfinger trail next year 😂

I live about 45 minutes to an hour from Stone mountain I wish I had known you were going to be here would love to meet all of you one day I will I hope you enjoy your stay and go see the fireworks
