I never did hear this song at the time since it was disabled by default for some reason. But after listening to it recently, it has become my favorite song from GT4.
Her voice is beautiful, great song! Thanks for posting-although youtube seems to degrade the music quality as it sounds way more clear on PS5. Still great!
@@miragespl yeah actually that's a lost track, there's no clean/hq version of the song the only version available online is with in game sounds of the intro cinematic. Also Dakota Star's music appears in other games like f-zero gx, r racing evolucion, a kof anime ova and some Japanese movies as well.
This song here is still one of my most favorites and I actually didn't know about this myself from before apparently, but I've heard that this song also originally appeared in GT4 as well. I still have GT4 for PS2 which I still occasionally play every now and again, but all the years I've played GT4 though, I never remember hearing this song in that game unless maybe I have heard it before, but I just didn't know too much about it or something perhaps at the time. I also didn't remember hearing this song in GT5 or GT6 for PS3 either even though I also have those games, but I'm really glad that I got to hear it in GT7 which is really great. I also only have just the PS4 version of GT7 since I don't have the PS5 version of the game, but I already have a PS5 system though now and the PS4 version of GT7 plays really well on my PS5 too.
@@KankaWasTaken I see then, but thanks for letting me know though. I have GT4 and I've heard that this song did appear in the game and all, but I never remembered hearing it many years ago and I was wondering why I never got to hear it in GT4 either. I also don't remember if this song ever appeared in GT5 or GT6 since I only first learned about this song when I first started playing GT7.
@@pepsidude8919 hey so I decided to boot up GT4 after this comment and All About You is actually included in my NTSC-U copy! I think the reason this one was particularly well hidden is because you have to go into the GT4 Jukebox and manually enable it. Kind of insane why they would hide some of the best songs of the game there but you can enable them for racing yourself too, cool!
@@KankaWasTaken I see then, but that's really interesting though and thanks so much for letting me know too! I think I also have the NTSC-U copy of GT4 as well since I live in the U.S., so I should have the North American version of the game. All the times I've played GT4 though, I just never got to hear this song in the game while I would be racing. Maybe the next time I play GT4 again though, I might play around in the settings of the game and try to see if I can be able to manually enable the song to play in the game via the jukebox so that I'll also be able to hear it that way too. Thanks again though for letting me know!

The bass line sounds like “sugar we’re going down” in the verse but tuned a semi tone lower😂 anyways great song I always get an emotional and uplifting vibe from this song it reminds me of the golden era of 2000’s Alternative rock music, I love hearing it when it plays
This song here is one of my most favorite songs already in Gran Turismo 7 and it would also be really great next perhaps if this song becomes added as part of Music Rally mode too in a future update or something for the game.
It's on the official soundtrack for GT4, but good luck finding one for a reasonable price. It was only released in Japan, so scalpers will charge you twice the normal amount for shipping.

Nothing left to lose
I'll see you when you call
We'll talk it over then
The calm before the storm
I never knew what's left in you
Until it passes
Nightfall, sunrise
We're still nowhere
Give me something I believe
(Something I believe)
You're the rain and then you shine
But nothing can compare
To when the wind is in your hair
No need for something new
It drives me crazy
You don't know it's all about you
There's someone standing there
Beside you it's not me
I wonder, do you care?
Falling gracefully
You've pushed me once too far
Now will you come to save me?
Eyes wide open
You see nothing
You're the one needs saving
(Needs saving)
I would drive through the night
Knowing that you're there
A thousand miles, anywhere
Like chasing all the stars
You drive me crazy
You don't know it's all about you
Don't move
You'll wake me
My dreams
So happy here
We are
Entangled
Naked like we ought to be
Silence
Scares me
The air in here
Gets so heavy
Rising heart
Choking on this feeling, meant to be
You and me
You're the rain and then you shine
But nothing can compare
To when the wind is in your hair
No need for something new
It drives me crazy
You don't know it's all about you
(It's all about you)

*DAIKI KASHO SONGS ARE ALWAYS AWESOME!❤*
I am so glad they have included this one back again in the game!

Chiaki singing still great after all those years, i wonder what happened to her and Dakota Star.
Man, Dakota Star brings me back. Didn't they do vocals for the TXRD Intro's as well?

GT4 had regional soundtracks, so most of daiki's songs sadly were never in the european/us releases and most first learned about them in GT7

For anime about an unrequited love sounds perfect on me.

Great song tho 💯
Because the song is from gt4, it was added for OG GT fans
So freaking catchy and hooky.
Too bad Chiaki is too old to be a Babymetal girl.
Can someone please tell me who sings this?
I have absolutely no idea
Chiaki from Dakota Star I believe
