Controversy/Chai Over the Board (COTB) | The curious case of queening the pawn | Joel vs Anirban

A very interesting case occurred in the game between Joel D'souza and Anirban Dasgupta from the Comedians Over the Board (COTB). Anirban on his way to victory pushes his pawn to the last rank and presses the clock without promoting it to a piece. The arbiter intervenes at this point. Tea falls on the chess board, one of the player resigns, the chief arbiter comes in and the game is restarted! It's a game filled with so much action! Check out what happens!
