It's always better to calculate all in bracket calculations first otherwise it becomes lengthy. But results will be same in both cases.

Mp is for first group and Mq for second group so you have to take accordingly. Kindly go through video again it will clear your doubts. As mean is mid value so in this example you can't take 22.5 or 17.5.
