Apple Car Play and Android Auto is wasn't standard on all trim levels between 2018 and 2020, It was Sport trim and up. But during the refresh in 2021 to 2022 Apple Car Play and Android Auto was standard on all trim levels including the LX trim.
Hi Chris, I got a 2019 Honda Accord XL, the same screen as the video and I can't connect my android phone to use maps, it says unsupported; I changed the USB cable and updated my android app on my phone and nothing works, What could be the problem?
Maybe a software update for the app on the phone itself. If that doesn't work, make sure that you attempt with another cord that isn't an off brand or aftermarket. Sometimes they don't work properly and I don't know why.
How do to a Factory Reset on a 2018 Honda Accord LX for the Display or Head Unit? I don’t see this option available. My Display reboots periodically and sometimes flickers.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18LX Display Unit doesn’t has a System Setting option. There is Default Option under Vehicle Settings but that is not the same as Factory Reset.
This is a great review however I can’t tell you how disappointed I am that I am unable to buy a CD player that will pair with the Bluetooth in my 2019 Honda accord LX. It’s my understanding somehow honda blocks being able to do that. Well, I’m an older person that thoroughly enjoys CDs and I’m so frustrated that I can no longer listen to them in my car. Streaming services are great especially for the younger generations. I tend to be in the older generation. I think I should reevaluate…. Not that it will do me any good

This trim does NOT have carplay.
Do 2020 Honda Accord LX come with Apple CarPlay automatically?
2021 was the year that the LX trim received the Apple carplay and android auto
Where is the Nav settings. Supposedly all Accords come with navigation including LX

Not on the 2018 - 2020 Honda Accord LX year models while the 2021 - 2022 Accord LX models do have apple car play.

American Honda doesn't offer an updatable touchscreen package.
