That would get some taken used to coming from running modern hydrostatic to then a power shift transmission on a loader but I guess it's no different you just knock it in the neutral when you come up to the truck before you hit the wheels
Why is the truck so far away from the dirt pile ?I’d have have park as closely as possible to it so the loader doesn’t have to go that far to the truck with a load of dirt .
I don’t usually run the track loader. I’m a truck driver. But the wheel loader and operator were both gone. So I was loading my own truck with this old track loader.
[thank, you for youre helpful video.👍 i, just bought a 2002, 939c cat track loader bull dozer with a 4&1 bucket at $40k]
I have same crawler loader good job mate keep it up
It’s a lot of fun to work with. The hydraulic controls seem backwards to me though. Compared to a 950g anyway.
Rarely see these old track loaders with rippers on them. I want one on my 973C

It’s a little different. The controls all seem backwards. It’s kinda hard to switch back and forth though.
That's what the big pedal in the middle is for disengages both clutches and applies the brake
Bring the Truck up Closer !!
4 x faster loading - less spill

Never let it warm up...run it like you stole it.
I was using all day loading trucks. It sat idling for at least 30 minutes that morning.
No wonder excavators made them obsolete. That guy is slow.
