Great opening. I think retail took it this time with the Lamelo RWB and the Cade variation. Hobby had some good pulls, but not enough today. Thanks for the shout-out again and the feature card up top.

I believe there is an element of ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) while opening packs. The sound and feeling of tearing them apart. The great hope and expectation of riches for the deprived inner-city child, that excites me so much watching these videos. Really, im my perspective...an interesting and deep topic. Regardless of loving the game more than anything...

Before you opened the last Chronicles pack, I was gonna say retail won easily, but I’m not so sure now. It was definitely a close battle, but you got multiple numbered rookies from hobby, including some other very nice cards as well. It’s too close to call!

Great battle. Retail had some nice looking cards, but the ANTs, #d Kawhi, and Kobe pushed hobby a little more for me. The real win was the random ‘vinegar strokes’ League reference 😆

I've just gotten into collecting as a beginner. Can someone please explain why you sort the cards you pull into separate piles, and how you can tell the value of a card. I also do not know where to buy these basketball cards. They seem to be sold out everywhere. Someone please help 😣
I just put notable cards up top, and semi-notable cards in the middle stack. To see what a card is worth, go to eBay, search for the card, and click "Sold Items." To buy retail cards, just go to Target or Walmart (or some Barnes & Nobles) or any of their websites.

I think hobby took took the cake this time around, but I need to grab a Pippen acetate for my illusions collection. I just ripped some recon and it went about as meh as the pack you opened. Hopefully you can chase some Terry once hoops retail comes out soon 🤞

@@ruffasportscards That’s another thing i love about it the class is loaded. There is probably at least 6 rookies from that year averaging 20 or more points this year. Plus 2 certified super stars in the making. The cards are just beautiful though

Hey sage which do you recommend for someone just starting out again.
Card collecting is a hobby, so it's all about collecting what you like. I rip a ton of different stuff, so I'd recommend watching some of my videos, and see if anything looks cool to you. You'll also have to decide if you have more fun opening up packs or just picking up cards of your favorite players.
