- An easy 6.5 mile circular hike starting in Biggin, going through Hartington, along the Wolfscote & Biggin Dale & back. Explore the pretty village of Hartington which has lots of pubs & shops to visit, many of which sell the great local produce the area has to offer.
Great content! Northern humour too
Haha thanks.. I feel my one liners are sometimes only funny to those within a 10 mile radius 🤣
@@barefoot_ventures I did this walk last Wednesday. Awesome. Thanks for the heads up on the swing. Also squeezed in Wolfscote Hill Trig
Great video , thank you . What a beautiful part of the world , even in the rain ! , I do not know the Peak District very well, I know Dartmoor better .I love that there are so many little paths and tracks ,very interesting , and well signposted it seems .
Yes there’s a lot of signs on the more popular routes.. it’s a beautiful area. I’m hoping to do more of Dartmoor later this year 🤩 looks amazing!
Another fabulous route, abit of everything great views woodland lots to enjoy, thanks 👍😊❤️
Thankyou.. I love this route ☺️☺️
Heading here on Saturday. Can’t wait. ❤
Woooo sorry I’m late reading this, did you go, did you have a good time?
@@barefoot_ventures yea just got back. Was absolutely blown away. I was going to do the circular but I enjoyed the river so much that when I got to the houses by the road bridge I just turned round and walked back. Probably did about 10.5 miles in the end. Will edit my trip and post it over the next day or 2. I kept eyeing up the river for a plunge but didn’t brave it in the end 😬😂
Kind of looks like a walk back in time with all of the old architecture and fence lines. Thanks for sharing
It’s a very unspoilt area 🥰
Another great video enjoyed watching keep up the great work 🧡🧡
You’re the best, thankyou so much 🥰
Cracking views! Those woodland trails look delightful!
Woodlands always feel very special don’t they.. I love them 🌳 🤩
Hi Char thank you for this walk we did it this morning nice and early to beat the crowds and the heat, enjoyed every bit of it so thanks again.
I’m pleased to hear you loved it.. it’s such a nice route this one 😇
Inspiring! Keep the videos coming ❤
Thankyou so much 🥰
Looks like a great walk with some lovely views. Thanks for sharing.
It’s a beauty, and relatively quiet 😁
another cracking walk 👍
Thankyou .. it’s a good one this 🙃
Thats a cracking walk. Cant wait to do it
Ohhhh it’s a corker!! Enjoy!
Looked a nice walk and a dam posh Youth Hostel, like the sound of cheap as well. On a hot day I have done wild swimming before but think I will pass on that one, no matter how refreshing 😳. Shame about the rain but super attitude and good to see the local wildlife and friendly local sheep too. Very informative and interesting vlog, cheers Alan
The rain keeps it exciting. 😜 and the youth hostels around the peaks are often quite posh, big stately homes converted 🤩 it’s a lovely walk Thankyou :)
IUsed to walk and Bike all over the Peak District, to old now ,but really enjoyed walking with you.
Ahhhh sounds delish and Thankyou, I’m glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Nice circular hike if moist. Is it off AllTrails? I've been up Wolfscote Hill from Hartington, beautiful views from the Trig Point. Great vlog.
No.. just another route I made up 💃🏼
And not a cow anywhere 😛❤ actually looks like a great little route 🤟🏻
No getting close and uncomfortable with Daisy on this one 🐄 😝 it’s a delish route .. similar to Dovedale but not as busy.. always a bonus 🤩
@@barefoot_ventures Yeah Dovedale sprang to mind as I watched 🙂 not being so busy is always welcome too 🙏🏼❤
Fantastic walk! You have insprired me to do this today! Can i be a rate pain and ask where you parked???
I parked in Biggin on the road :) hope you have a lovely walk :)
@Barefoot_Ventures thankyou i did the same! What a walk! Absolutely stunning thankyou so much for the inspiration! Did the same route as in your video. A peak district gem this one!
When you are seeing 4 foot squirrels in the woods, you are no longer in the woods!
The grey squirrel on steroids could have been a wallaby or some other marsupial, like a small kangaroo?
Could have been.. Maybe a hare?! I guess we’ll never know 🙃
