That's awesome mission brother,2 shots 2 deers down 🔥🤙
Pretty good not having to change the Dope...just "Send it"!!👌👌👌
Damn bro, that pack must have been heavy on the way back to ya car!! Massive effort Rogee 👍 😅
That one gave me flash backs to the 70kg pack I hauled out of the Ruahines a couple of months ago bro!!🥵🥵🥵
I love it that you take little girl with you. Watch you guys every episode
Yeah bro shes bloody good company, thanks for your support👌👍
she's really chill during the shooting too.
@@tewaewae Yeah certainly not gun-shy at all
Very nice. Indeed!
Cheers James👍
Another awesome hunting trip Rogee and great video too, enjoyed the trip with you brother, thumbs up and kia ora.
As always Tony, thanks for the support
Always happy to find you've done another video and as always it's well worth the watch.
Cheers Gav👌👌👌
Unbelievable, it was like they were queuing up for you bro. Great vid
I know Right!!🤷♂😉😁🤙🏽
“Bro, may you always be blessed with such hunting luck!”
Cheers brother🤙🏽
Pumping brother👌🏾🤙🏽 Mauriora 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Chur ma brudda🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Choice mission bro. Hell feed for the table.👌🏽
Cheers bro, yeah got a few friends who will get well supplied!!👌
Another great video, they are always interesting
Inform, educate and entertain brother😉😁🤙🏽
I noticed you’ve mentioned ELD-M bullets in the 300wsm and AMax rounds in the .308 in the US neither is considered a “hunting” bullet why those particular bullets and is it a coincidence they are both Hornady products?
When I started reloading for both rifles many many moons ago, Amax pills were the best performing at the time and they killed well . So Ive kinda just stuck with match bullets
Great video brother as always 🤙
Cheers brother😉🤙🏽
Loved the video keep the videos coming
Cheers bro🤙🏽
Yo, the second deer stepped into the same spot before you’d even cleared off the rifle. I assume using the thermal to track the falling first one?
Yeah bro youre onto to it, I was tracking the first one in the Thermal when the other one stepped out!
Fuuuu brother another meke solo mission and meke video well done sniper love the content massive chur from Te Tai Tokerau FFN Mauri ora brother 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Chu my brother always appreciate the Tuatoko!!
Chur brother haven't seen the whole vlog, but I appreciate the knowledge you disseminate to us all who enjoy hunting..
Roger that my bro🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
On to it....thanks...
Exactly on the same spot....2down...
I run tikka’s also. So really looking forward to you telling us about that setup with that chassis.
At least this hunting buddy isn’t calling them kiwi tree frogs like Matty does 🤪.
Cheers brother....Tree frogs😂😂😂
Thanks for the new vid, nice work! That Thermal looks like a Go To piece of kit now?
Yeah the Thermal is on.....but it does have its optimal time for use and when its not so good, I'll do a vid on it once ive used more
Another great hunt. Why do you not go into the animal for the tenderloins? It could be a simple enough task since you have the skin skinned away from the backstraps? I am just wondering about that. Thanks for the great videos and the effort you put in brother.
Cheers Willie....TBH mate I prefer to not gut them too messy and Ive never been a big fan of the eye fillets....in short too bloody lazy! 🤦♂️🤷♂️🤔
I personally watching every episode. It’s good to see another way of hunting. For me it’s too much waste ( neck, front legs and tenderloin). Waiting for a new part nice country and shots!
Thanks Rob, yeah I hear ya I guess its the way we kinda do things here. A bit spoilt for choice with the deer as they are considered a noxiouis pest and it a free for all on them. And with that comes "just take the easiest and best bits" 🤔😉
Mint vid bro, question what bino holder are ya using, plus also what's ya go to drink since they are stopping huntsmart? Also how easy was it to train your breed of dog?
Bino Harness: twinneedle.co.nz/products/bino-pouch-v3?variant=47740517581075 - Jee I didnt realise they were stopping Huntsmart, I'm definitely gonna get that. Just normal training for my dog, sit, stay, take piss and get in ya kennel! 😉😁
Well done my mate 👏.🤙🦊
Thank you brother🤙🏽
I'm too thick to work out all that stuff and the calculations🤣 Great result, you are a tough mudder f.....
Me too...thats why i got the technology 🤔🤷♂️😂...cheers brother🤙🏽
Nice one old mate, go to show with the right person behind the gun placing the bullet in the right spot the old .308 still can do the job, enjoyed.
Roger that Brother!!!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
That is one impressively organised hunter.
Cheers Marty
Well done Rogee another nice wee mission great to finish off the weekend cheers brother looking for the next one 😉👏👏🤙
Cheers brother🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Nice double. Good to get out for some alone time. And dog.
Roger that Mark🤙🏽
Great photo you the deer and ,the dog ,whats her name
Cheers bro her name is "Keys"
Mean hikoi bro and the trusty old 308 🤙
The new old 308 bro😉🤙🏽
Nice double whammy there mate 🦌🦌🎯👌
Roger!!
Nice work as always 👍. Maybe a range finder binocular with built in ballistic for the next upgrading 🤔
Yeah I believe there are a few brands that make those, Lecia, Vortex... I think the Vortex even link to the Kestrel 5700 as well!
@@rogeeproductions2509 Leica geovid R or Swaro EL range (if you’re spendy). The vortex binos have iffy glass and take a dog’s age to get a solution back and even longer when connected to a kestrel. The Revic Acura blr10b binos give the best solutions, connect well with other devices, have onboard weather, and have decent glass
Did you hide a sneaky salt lick on the other side
Bloody looks like it aye!!😆😆😆🤷♂️
Under the Treaty, I have to confiscate that veni my bro. Arohamai!!!.
David Seymour says it belongs to every New Zealander now😂😂😂
@rogeeproductions2509 ohhhh no, you didn't...David (needs to) Seymour of deez nuts!!!
Love your vids! Cook it up for us.
Roger that👌
Awesome video. Epic solo mission
Thanks man!!!🤙🏽
Good to see a new mission!
Roger🤙🏽
Fkn impressive with the 308
Cheers!!
usual top quality entertainment and the bush is two pests better of, a lot probably as they were breeding aged. does the dog help you find deer on recovery? what's the contingency if you find yourself unable to move? cheers and that sunrise makes me homesick
Cheers brother...my little mate finds them after she trips over them🤦♂️😂....Set off the SOS on the Garmin Inreach if I'm ever in the shit, that little device I put in my side pouch before heading off on the recovery. It can send texts as well.
@@rogeeproductions2509 i knew you'd have it covered, I was thinking how much stuff you hunters carry compared to 40 yrs ago. Do you think it diminishes hunters core skills? Little mate looks like she doesn't miss the food bowl too often. Front rower? 😁
@@tewaewae I guess each hunter is different and it depends on what you want to get out of the sport. Some guys hunt farms some guys hunt the publicl land. There will always be fundamental skills required for both
Technology has certainly helped finding and shooting deer, thermals , HD Binos etc…
Another awesome video 👍😎
Cheers brother🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Nice solo hunt.
Cheers bro👌🤙🏽
Whats the new head lamp

Awesome
Cheers brother
Love the vid I'm looking at getting the Tikka aspire in 308 good up grade from the old savage
Tikka all day long brother!!!🤙🏽
Out of curiosity, why choose the .308 over something like the 6.5 creedmoor?
@@SammyMoore-tg5gs TBH Sammy, Im ex-military so I know the 308(7.62) very well and I prefer the ability to shoot heavier bullets for more hitting power. Also 6.5 Gaymore😉😂
@@rogeeproductions2509 I’ve got a Ruger m77 mkii .308 in an MDT LSS chassis with a Timney trigger that is entirely more accurate than it has any right to be. We’re talking sub 1” 10 shot groups on repeat with 168 gr eld-m bullets, and it slaps deer for sure, the recoil is vicious considering the downrange performance. Sure, a suppressor mitigates it to an extent, but would have the same mitigating performance on a cartridge with similar recoil and better downrange performance, like the 6.5 PRC, or considerably less recoil and similar downrange performance, like the 6.5 Creedmoor.
Ps. Just picked up a Tikka t3x in .223 rem as a training rifle today! Looking forward to it.
@@SammyMoore-tg5gs Nice!
Awesome shots mate, what knife are you using?
Cheers its a Zoe Zipper from R&N Blades rnblades.com/product/zoe-zipper-hunting-knife/
Gear list is in the video description
@@SammyMoore-tg5gs Thanks Sammy🤙🏽🤙🏽
@@rogeeproductions2509 happy to do it!
