Great video! I too found that going with a smaller setup allowed me to actually enjoy the hobby more. Sometimes too much sprawl is too much, and get more pieces into a compact space was better.

@@StudCity Probably going to require an outdoor snow train and a dog to reach 200k??? 🤣

So if your just running rc i noticed that shelf with the Ninjago on it. You could add a second shelf there, just wide enough a train can run and do a reversing loop on either table. Makes your train longer, frees up aeea for stuff. Personally think you made a good decision, especially if you can't reach areas. Have that issue myself but i just have different values. The shelfs are a good way to store the boxy modular buildings without banishing them entirely. Plus could really make things interesting with hiding the shelf border with bricks, masking it from view and creating an illusion. Best of luck with your new set up.

Looking good. I’m all for small and custom! Unless you have a ton of time and disposable income (after saving/investing 😊) a big city layout just starts to feel like it’s never getting anywhere!

The gap between the two planks ...
Fill it with an underground sewer?

Its tough to reduce a city size but hey, we will be moving again soon so a bigger city is coming!

@@StudCity agreed. You did the right thing. I do like the modulars in the background of your videos. Keep up the great work and would love your feedback on my city if you ever get a chnace.
