Edit: I read every single comment on here I can assure you that but I've seen a lot of people feeling bad for him, I understand you guys I do but I feel like because of his face and 'beauty' people are wanting to more know about him and then end up being a fan of his voice/music as well as himself (most of the time) so it's not completely bad all the time when he gets complimented on his looks...
He doesn't get complimented on his music as much as he does on his face but a compliment is a compliment...and it's all good as long as we know that he's our precious angel ^^ with both talent and looks

Compliment his hard work, kindness, etc...? Being complimented for appearance, accomplishments, or influence will eventually feel very empty. They say nothing of who you actually are. No matter how handsome, youthful good looks DO gradually fade, then you have to decide where your true value comes from.

Poor Eunwoo. I wish people would talk about his amazing talents instead of just his good looks. He has such a nice and pretty voice and amazing dance talent. People need to acknowledge him for his character and inner charm rather than just his face. That’s why he cried with happiness when he met a fan who told him that even before she saw him, she made him her bias because she fell in love with his voice. People complimenting his voice shouldn’t be so alien to him that he considers it an honor if someone thinks he is a good singer.

i can see in some of the videos where they said that, he almost looks disappointed. i feel like people need to know that eunwoo literally is the embodiment of the korean beauty standard for men. like we obviously find him beautiful but in korea he literally has the ideal perfect face.

I think Eunwoo is tired of hearing constant praise regarding his looks. He wants to be recognized for his other skills too. While he is super talented people can't help it because they simply have not seen someone as gorgeous as him in real life. And looks are usually the first thing you notice about someone when you don't know them. Personally the thing that attracts me the most to eunwoo is his brain. Intelligence is sexy! I love how he makes notes and searches about a person first before meeting them.

Dang, I kind of think that last question is unfair to him, being asked to rate his own face. I'm sure he knows he's good looking, he's told that by literally everyone who meets him. He was literally asking the host and the public to love his group and their talents rather than just his face. And yet they wouldn't let him off the hook. I feel like that question is just setting him up so that he can look conceited, when as far as I can tell from what we do get to see of his life (no celebrity is truly showing their whole lives to the media because they deserve privacy) he seems really humble, sweet, and kindhearted. His members genuinely care about him, and they seem pretty authentic as well, so that has to mean something about what he's like. The video where they were wrapping up shooting Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, while so many people were focused on it since they were like "wow this guy doesn't look any different without makeup," that video stood out to me because of how emotional he got at the end. Yes, I first found out about him in My ID Is Gangnam Beauty because of his looks, but my main reason for looking him up was because his character had hardly any personality, and he wasn't allowed to really show any emotions. I was curious about what he was really like, so that's how I came to know him, and I definitely remember him for more than just his looks. I'm glad he is sharing his sweet personality and showcasing his talents, and he is still going past what everyone has told him that his face does all the work and that he shouldn't do anything except sit there and look pretty.

Tbh I get really sad knowing that he probably gets uncomfortable because of it, and it must be annoying af when people constantly talk about your looks and never pay attention to your talent.
