Good review. The concept of this statue is great, i love it. I ordered it too. But the HS and the painting of the suit are not in line with the prototype presented by Weta last year. Moreover the problem of fixing the statue is not normal. I think you have to write to Weta, their products are much better quality usually.
Great review guys. Not sure if you noticed after, the Cape isn't mounted into the base properly. I ended up cancelling mine as the faces didn't do it for me. Other then that great piece
I want to like this statue sooo much but the face sculpts, why aren't they closer to Cavill's likeness fr the price. Superb review, and the rest of the statue is awesome. They should have put more detail into the face rather than the pics on the box of the creators. Nice touch but the face sculpts in my opinion are average.
If you look in the box under where the screwdriver was you will find an M8 setscrew. You have fitted it with a wood screw. That is why it doesn't fit correctly and is loose. It needs the correct fitting.
Same Battery Compartment issue.. could not open it and eventually broke the tiny clip, it now will not open so battery can never be used / LED eye feature will never function. Poor Quality Control from Weta, if a tool is needed to open the Battery Compartment then instructions (to prevent damage) or the tool itself should have been included with this statue. I have contacted Weta but they refuse to replace the Head or to admit that there is any fault. I'm afraid it's my last Weta purchase which is a real shame
@@J3FFTH3CH3F Tweezers. Be careful not to break it. Once it comes off, it’ll go on and off easier afterwards. The batteries are 2 x LR41 batteries (energizer 392) at local hardware store

Yea wrong screw that's why it's loose. The white lines on the rubble is street lines from a road 😎

I think Queen studio black suit superman head sculpt likeness is much much better
Were you ever able to get the battery inside the angry head? I got mine and have the same issue with the cover not wanting to come off
Yes we did finally managed to get the batteries in .
