Here is a tour through the home that we gutted and brought back to life. We truly loved this home but God had other plans for our family in Kansas City and for that we are blessed to be closer to our family. I hope you enjoy the walk through of the place we called home.

Your (former) house is beautiful but what's more is the super meaningful items you display, it tells so much about you and your family and is very inspiring. I thank you for sharing.

Nope, didn't leave, just had to take a break while we moved. Waiting to get into our home and being able to do all the videos again. Right now I am making a list of videos that I can do until then that will still show planning and organizing.

We've been married 46 years and moved 15 times, we have 3 kids, so I can relate very well. Moving isn't fun, but there have been some wonderful experiences along with all those moves. We're in a move right now building our, wait for it 3rd retirement home. I guess we're going to keep doing g it til we get it right. LOL. Good luck to you.

Hi and welcome! Yes, for whatever reason my first 3 or 4 no longer show. I have yet to figure that out. Luckily the holidays are right around the corner and I have lots in store. There is lots to do to our new home (like move in) that I will bring you all along for.

Neat idea to showcase the places you've moved to. My husband worked with the Federal government for 32 years. We've lived here in Denver for 6 and half years now...the hubby retired in 2016.

Thank you. Honestly, I have loved things about each of our homes. I am really excited to show everyone our new home because it has some fun features as well. I just love to decorate so each home is a new slate to have fun with. So I filmed this video about 4 weeks ago but just hadn't had time to edit and post. We are now in Kansas City waiting to get into our new home after being painted. I did have packers and movers who came the day after this video was filmed. Pic Monkey is so easy and free. I love FREE!

I am always amazed at how everything you do is so thought out. It is really inspiring me in my own home. Also, I have moved many, many times in my life and was amazed that it was 3 days until you said you were moving, and it appeared that you had not even started packing!! Do you have movers pack for you? I'm sure whatever you do it is perfectly planned and organized!!😊. Thank you for your wonderful videos. Yes, with all of our moves I have been blessed with having packers and movers scheduled for us which makes life a little less crazy during all of the chaos... which is why I didn't do a packing video. I will certainly be doing unpacking videos as I get our home back to the new normal. We won't be in our new home for probably three more weeks so I am trying to come up with other videos that I can do in the meantime that doesn't involve cleaning or decorating (since we are in corporate housing). Gina, there are just people who look to be unhappy and spread that unhappiness around. Those are the moments I just have to smile and walk away. Negative people will try and plant a seed wherever given the opportunity. One of my favorite quotes is "You cannot hang out with negative people and expect to live a positive life'. Yes, it was hard to leave but I am super excited to be able to have another clean slate to work with and can't wait to bring you all along with me.

@@MelissaHuenergardt I think people take the thumbs down way too seriously. It is a thumbs down. That's all. It doesn't mean the person is negative, or unhappy, or passive aggressive or trying to tear anyone down any more than if someone asked you to give pistachio ice cream a thumbs up or down and you gave it a thumbs down b/c you didn't. I personally will thumb a video down if I don't like it with the hopes that youtube tracks that and won't recommend videos of either the subject or the channel for me in the future (I don't know if it works like that), or I thumb it down b/c I don't like it, but I've never thumbed a video down b/c I am unhappy and trying to make as many people as I can be miserable along with me. That's laughable. I mean, would you give a 5 star rating to a movie you just saw but didn't like on Netflix b/c you didn't want someone to think you were being unhappy if you didn't? I hope not, otherwise your video recommendations must be full of movies you hate.

My husband was the president for a hospital in Colorado and is now President and CEO of the Midwest region of hospitals within the same system in Kansas City. It took me about a month to decorate my home. I have had a very similar style in my past two home before this one so I just continue to bring along with me what was used before and only add a few new elements in the space.

Hello! We lived in Lone Tree. We could be to downtown Denver in about 35 mins with traffic. Traffic is definitely a bear there. Congrats and enjoy the mountains! They are beautiful.
