Sir, this version of extradeck Monarch is so far the best I have seen, great work on the stragergy. I also have been experimenting with Monarch the past couple days and the my version so far is Draitron Monarch, it is nothing much but I think you might want to check it. Since Ehther is a light fairly monster, there is alot of synergy with Draitron. My best combo line is Draitron Alpha plus Delta. Use Alpha effect to tribute Delta and search for Benten, then use Delta effect to tribute Benten and search Constellation, while searching for Archlord Crystia via Benten eff. After that ritual summon Benten and return Constellation back to hand by its own effect, then tribute summon Archlord Crystia over Benten and the remain Draitron, and search Ehther by Benten effect. The concept has worked so far, although it still suffer the "bricking" issuse. The deck have two advantages as being able to search both Ehther and Archlord easily while give out sufficient tribute folder, while still be able to use Domain at maximum efficiency since the extra deck is not required.

Ester egg in that theme is that the whole tomb is actually Erebus's domain and erebus and eidos can be seen behind the gate on menu screen, glad you guys love the theme!
I really dig the new design, but I have to say that I think the sound effects might be a little loud, especially for phase transitions. It's just a bit distracting. Great video otherwise, I love ED Monarchs so much. Without Brilliant Fusion, the deck lacks a lot of power, and relying so heavily on both Isolde and Halq hurts a lot. Maybe something will release to make ED Monarchs more malleable soon, but I'd wager that anything that boosts the deck will likely boost another more recent deck more so. We can dream at least!
I see Lithium went in a similar direction for EDM as I did. I'm playing Plaguespreader instead with a Dragoon package since 1 or 2 negates with something like Vanity's or Ehther is not that bad. Savage Dragon in particular is easy to make with between Plaugue and Linkross tokens with Prime. I've also been playing with Garbage Lord since its tribute fodder, a tribute summon, and great for extending Link plays. Great vid Lithium.
There was a card that MBT used in his video on Monarchs that you might like, its Called "Seleglare" It bounces itself to steal a monster I think. But it can be summoned off of the Heavenly Monarch.
I've always been sort of perplexed why Monarchs were never played in the OCG when they have triple Maxx C. I thought Maxx C would be the perfect hand trap for Monarchs to play because it somewhat remedies their weakness to bricking. Given, I'm ignorant of the OCG meta, but I know they still play decks that special summon at least a few times in a turn.
I would sugest to replace one "Kuraz thr Lightmonarch" with a card named "Seleglare the shining moon dragon" Its a lvl 6 dragon monster with 2400 ATK and 1000 DEF and it has a quick effect that you can send itself back to the hand and then until the endphase you steal one monster your opponen controles with attack lower or equal to its own. Also you can just normal it without tributing. Its ATK and DEF then gets cut but you play it for that steal effect anyway. Its like a Stormforce you can bash your opponents teeth in with.
So, would you consider the one of March in the Domain variant? I think it's very strong in general since if you set up Domain + Vanity's/Majesty's with March turn one, it's very difficult for your opponent to blow it out unless they open Lightning Storm + Imp/Dark Ruler/Drop
@@Lithium2300 Sending it off Isolde as your equip isn't terrible, since it's just extra fodder for Prime. But I do agree that running better equips is just better.
The deck already has ways of dumping the cards into the grave with things like erabus and either and pantheism. I guess you could use it but it seems a bit unnecessary
My dream is to see domain monarch at 3 with extra deck that have ability to swarm the board with all cards in the extra deck so they can activate domain Edit: nvm, I just realized that Feed Back exist (in ocg), so I guess my dream did come true
i used to like ED monarchs during their time but with how the current meta looks like the extra benefit you get from having the options doesnt add up anymore... back then it used to be huge to get those few extra deck cards that are playable but currently they just do do much anymore, maybe one extra interuption here and there but compared to what you face its just laughable :( if you could build a strong board with the extradeck that would be different maybe but as it stands the domainlock version simply better equipped to deal with the format
I would try mystic mine on this just to make people cry, i mean mystic mine is a better version of domain, why not just running both on a domain version? Like... that would be hilarious

Domain may be competitively more viable RIGHT NOW, but ED Monarch is still so much more fun and versatile

You should try out the Symphonic Warrior Guitaar and Symphonic Warrior Miccs extra normal summon combo.

I think 2-2 is a must, their GY effects for the follow up turn is far too good.

The problem with seleg dragon is that it cant pop monarch continous, since you will need your ED so kuraz is better
You can use both actually, I recommend running both, that way your toolbox is more powerful. 1 kuraz and 1 Seleglare I think is good,

By 3:17 when u used stormfronth u had only to tribute 1 monster for ether in enemy turn, why not 2 ? Eldlitch wasnt tribute summoned.

Storm forth aether still looks good maybe not as powerful but definitely good way to annoy your opponents
