Oh wow this is a genius method. If I had known earlier that pounded yam can be made this way, I just graduated April and this is august and I bought pounded yam in school bukas. I would've been making it myself anytime anyday. But it's not too late as I'll be going for service soon so ochuko's recipes, here i come. Thank you 😂
Then the little I know of new yam and old yam is that old yam is more skinnier but new yam is actually more renewed and has excess water content in it, mostly it could be covered with excess sand or dirt too as some may be freshly uprooted from the soil
