Best video ever , but deep inside i still wish there was some way to combine the speeds from all other devices

Speedify isn’t meant to increase your speed, at least not in that mode, it’s meant to take the data you’re uploading and spread it out across all the networks. So you might only have 50mbps upload speed, but your data is being spread across 4/5 of those. So you’re essentially getting 200mbps.

There are several considerations when it comes to test the bonding.
    1. it has to be completely different ISP for each connection. For example, the cell phone and the LAN internet probably using same T-Mobile, which those 2 devices are connected to same tower, then the speed increase won't be benefit so much
    2. For using bonding paid software like speedify, there are several things that plays in factor
    a. The server bandwidth is at full capacity because being public
    b. The connection from your local ISP to speedify is not good that you suffer terrible speed, probably the ISP throttle or something.
I have used speedify in the past and it even gave worse connectivity than standalone connection. Plus it tends to flag your connection as using peer-to-peer and forced me to use the server in Europe, which is very far away from where I was

Or just setup a OpenMPTCPRouter with a good Server at the other end.

it's not impossible...if this method doesn't work for you somehow...check speedify...it's an app dedicated to bonding networks

Thanks, I was considering trying speedify, but it appears it will not do what I was looking for.

I don't believe you treated Speedify fairly. There are multiple modes on Speedify that you didn't set up. One option is for fail over, the other is for speed...

    • @OMNITEK

If you manage to install your phone as a modem, yes...can be done via easytether or pdanet if you want i have made videoa on them too...just add them to the bond and it recognizes them as any other modem

Dear friend. Thank you for this video. Somehow this does not work for me. I use my standard lan internet and one wifi 4g over my phone. I bridge them and I don't get the same result. I install speedify and it was instantly utilizing both. Is there any setup to the bridge or something I need to do in order to make it work? I am using windows 10 home. Maybe that is the issue?

@@hatsuzuki_9610 its a 50/50 thing even with speedify its not working well. Win 10 does it poorly. Win 7 instantly combines speeds. Dunno what's wrong.

it really would be cheaper to get a residential gigabit service than to pay for all of these individual connections and speedify.

Network bridge does not bond anything. Speedify does but their servers are slow to see much benefit.
      Load-balancing could achieve some benefit.
Overall, OpenMPTCPRouter is the way to go.

Can you retest speedify with it's bonding mode set to 'Speed' instead of 'Streaming'?

    • @hunterzone4846
      @hunterzone4846 ปีที่แล้ว

Where i live, speeds drop to about 5 mbps at times, so i combine 3 or 4 connections with speedify and it gives me about 15 mbps. The bridged method doesn't seem to increase it for me tho.
