A wise man once said "You never truly realize what you have, how special it is, and how much of it you do have, until it's gone." The place we live is a special place. As far as we know, Earth is the only place we CAN live. As far as we know, Earth is the only planet that's the way it is. Treat it with respect. Go out and explore. Live life to the fullest. And savor each and every moment you have while living.
The message you got from this is interesting. I agree that we have a beautiful planet, but watching these time lapses of the Milky Way and beyond has the opposite effect on me - it makes me certain that there are other habitable planets in the universe. Just the sheer size and magnitude is aweing. Most stars that are visible from Earth are part of our Milky Way - just one measly galaxy in a universe of many. Our galaxy isn't even particularly large or small, just a standard galaxy. One of billions. A statistician must argue that the probability of another Earth-like planet in our galaxy, let alone the universe, is extremely high.
@@ihaveboogers6391 yep. There are way more planets habitable like such but maybe there are pretty rare planets as beautiful as our home. Our dear planet Earth. Check out Carl Sagan's speech on pale blue dot.
I grew up on a ranch in New Mexico and lived there until I was 21, I left and moved back four years later and then lived there for 16 years. I now live in Ireland and seeing this makes miss the amazing sky and natural beauty of New Mexico! I am going back to the ranch in June and cant wait to see these sights again. What an amazing piece of work this is! Well done Knate!
such an beautiful experience u gave, thanks for having such creative ,to make people realize peaceful and loving the nature beauty,i bow to every beauty in our earth,We all must thank our life to be a part of this journey. And Must be thankful for all the things given to us by god.
3:08 to 3:18 , how is that possible? a perfect circular rotation of the sky? such a place has to be very north or very south of the globe, like northern scandinavia or southern south america.. but then it would be in colder zones and maybe no green trees or so... so, where is this part made ? absolutely stunning, nice job..
Excellent work, Knate! Some of the best I have ever seen. Perfect frame-rates and your taste in white balance, is fun. New Mexico is on my bucket-list for nightscape, but I shoot mostly from Death Valley and Maui. Come visit me. Maybe I will bump into out in the dark someday! Fantastic stuff, loved it!
Hi, I have a Nikon D3200 and I would like to make a photo of stars just like yours. But I was wondering how I would picture adjustment turned out nice? Thank you very much. :)
AMAZING! very nice work. i'm not familiar with that Nikon. I shoot canon only. did the camera take photos on its own every minute or so? don't say you manually snapped them each....ugh...been there done that.

You still can't see it's flat after viewing such wonderful footage. Hehehehe. It's ok.
