Generally the same strategy I've seen elsewhere, though with a 9 and 50 EMA, plus the addition of the RSI set to a common crossover point of 50 as a 3rd confirmation of direction. EMA's above each other, PSAR in correct direction, RSI crossing above 50, go long. Reverse all for a sell.

I have developed my own cycle decoder which in combination Linear Regression Channels shows me some nice cycles, and I have been getting in at the bottom of the cycle and out at the top, However these cycles go for a couple of weeks to a couple of months and I have been looking for a method where by I could jump in and out of them on a Daily basis so as to compound my profit. I have looked at PSAR many times and it definite appeals to me, I had just not worked out how to use it. Now thanks to your video it is soooo obvious. I just use my current cycle decoder and Linear regression Channels to tell me when a trend is happening and then use PSAR to jump in out in the direction of the trend. Thanks again

I think the bar has to close with the dot indicating a trade. Some platforms show a dot on the bar in progress, but the dot usually flickers between the ends of the bar until the bar closes.
i don't move SL to the close of the last candle. Trends can frequently test back to the EMA 9.... As long as it holds this level...it's still good to go. Closing on the other side.... you might want to consider TPing. Watch for rejection of the SMA 20 as this would signal a continuation of a strong trend. A rejection of SMA 50 is still a healthy trend. A rejection of SMA 100 is still trending but it is no longer healthy. A rejection of SMA 200 is still trending but is very unhealthy. The other side of the 200 is a reversal...especially if it comes back to test it and rejects to to continue going that way.

There is always a bit of random but with other assets there are things which are controlling the overall direction and the random is just created by profit takers and traders getting in on the small reversals for quick profits. Bitcoin only moves based on the investor's whims. It is therefore highly volatile as most in it are noobs causing panic buys or sells... FOMO rules the day. Trade bitcoin, but do so with caution. DO NOT HOLD IT. Horrible idea. What has gone up almost 40,0000 in value for no reason at all since December could easily go back down the same and much faster, for no reason at all. Stable... IT IS NOT. And there are regulations coming, big time. The asset does not move as it should. The value strikes me as highly inflated. Watching it move around strikes me as there are serious issues with how the price moves. Been trading for years. I do trade bitcoin. Never hold it when i am not sitting at my trading desk. But honestly, the whole thing strikes me as a tradable asset which is controllable 100% by big $, making it questionable to subjects such as criminal manipulation. I must admit that i do debate if it should be a registered trading asset at all. And yes... i love the volatility of it. The $ one can make off the crazy movement is nuts.

I day trade a lot and sometimes it’s hard to make steady income.
