This is the man Baker really is. He may seem cocky but he is a great man.
Kind of like John Cena... absolutely could not STAND him in the wrestling ring... he buried new talent and didn't like to push new guys... just could not stand him. However, OUTSIDE the ring, he is a wonderful guy. He is Make A Wish's leading wish giver with over 650 wishes granted. He treats each child like they are a king or queen. So I understand what you are saying about Baker.

He didn't like to push new talent...had nothing to do with a script...that was his personal feelings backstage real life, not scripted. Can't stand his wrestling character either.... but neither has anything to do with the fact that he is wonderful at making wishes come true.

This is the stuff I wish ESPN would present rather than demoralizing athletes like Baker Mayfield. I'm never leaving being a UGA fan, however, this is special. I wish ESPN and Disney would start presenting stuff like this. Thank you, Baker, God Bless and I wish you the best of luck in the future in the NFL. You are an athlete and a one of a kind athlete if you keep your head above your shoulders and don't let the money get to your head.

My grandpa died suddenly of Leukemia on my birthday back in 2010, and I always wonder the fear that he had being in the hospital those last 3 days before dying. I miss him every day and wish he could’ve seen me get accepted to OU. At least this girl was able to fight back for as long as she did. What Mayfield did for her was amazing.

I heard about her but didn't really know that much about her story. She is no longer suffering and I know she is proud of Baker Mayfield. I knew he was a great guy and this was so nice of him to do this for her. You meet so many people and sometimes you forget those people you've met but he made sure to never forget her. RIP Mackenzie Asher! You will never be forgotten
