I’m 36 weeks today, I have to confess, I’m a little scared of childbirth, everything from the iv they put in your hand, the contractions, the epidural but most of all, the tearing! And the recovery after. Not to mention having a baby to take care of (first time mom here!) I’m just getting a little overwhelmed... I don’t know really how I’m gonna go through all of this. I hope I’ll make it and that my baby is healthy and safe and so do I! I wish the best to every mamá out there! Good luck to us all!
I'm 36 weeks and my hip has a lot of pulling muscles. I can't walk without pain. I didn't know how much it hurts in the last few days! can't wait to drop off this load! it's been fun but I'm ready to see my baby boy now!

Your pelvis may be unstable due to this and the result is pain. This pelvic girdle pain can be one sided, be felt in your buttocks, hips or pain down your legs. This pain as you described is worse when walking, lying down or trying to turn over in bed.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us. It sounds as though she is experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions. Braxton Hicks are not true labour contractions and are not consistent but they are preparing your wife's body for delivery. If the pain becomes severe you need to call or speak to your doctor. 36 weeks now and I’m so uncomfortable and I cannot sleep at all. The heartburn is literally nonstop; I’m always taking tums which I think make me constipated and the medication for that isn’t work. I’m ready for my baby girl to get here.

Thank you! Lots of pain and pressure on my pelvic and lady parts, sometimes so much it stops me from walking for a few seconds, and baby movements hurt! I'm overall very tired ;)
Hello Jessica, First I want to say your baby is fine. Your baby will receive the nourishment he or she needs from you even if it is a drain on you. You didn't mention your weight at the beginning of your pregnancy. If you were a little over weight then this could be the reason you have not gained much weight. Some Mom's do become thin during pregnancy. If your doctor is not worried then just relax and enjoy your last few weeks.
Taking antibiotics greatly decreases the chances of your baby developing early onset group B strep infection..Since GBS naturally lives in the gastrointestinal tract (guts), the bacteria can come back after antibiotics. A woman may test positive at certain times and not at others. If you are at a low risk, the decision to use antibiotics is up to you. There are herbal remedies that you can take 2-3 weeks before delivery that a midwife or homeopathic physician can recommend. I hope this helps.

Your doctor tested you and that is what is important so that you can be treated. You may be just a carrier. Your physician will recommend giving you antibiotics through IV during your delivery to prevent your baby from becoming ill...(please see continuation of my reply above)...
