Here I show you how to use the closed tray impression coping. This one is a piece of cake.
Indication:
For single units, in terms of accuracy it does not matter whether you use open or closed tray techniques. So just use closed tray, it’s so easy!
Also for patients with small openings, use closed tray impression copings all the way!

Hi doc can this technique be used for making screw retained prosthesis ? Or we should go for open tray fixture level impression

If the abutment is above occlusal height and u need 3 mm can u just cut the top to get 3mm? Like get a but and just cut straight off?

That cutting is done in lab. If implant is at an angle ,side also will be machined. For bridges to get parallelism , technical team will grind sides of abutments on models

Is an opposing impression needed? Can a triple tray be used for the impressive of the implant copen?

You have to use a quad tray because the patient won’t be able to bite down with the impression coping in the mouth. 😊

If you are pouring your impression in house, you need the analogue. If you are sending your impression to the lab, you don't need the analogue.
