#suggestion Fontaine - MVL (French Championship 2007) An exchange sacrifice, a queen sacrifice, an under promotion and a king hunt by a 17 year old MVL.
Fantastic game young Magnus I can imagine even at 14 he had vast knowledge about chess I read he started in his first tournament at 8 yrs old and his father taught him when he was 5. He says trying to beat his older sister motivated him to play better. He must’ve had great coaching and support growing up Great game Thanks Agadmator
You do such a great job of explaining! I know people are fussing about giving more details about the openings and I respect and admire your position but what you might consider is once in a while describe how these openings can go deeply wrong. Always the best to you!
I read somewhere the Quote meant they had an opportunity but missed it and all they can do is capitulate in anger . Maybe you have a clearer definition?
#suggestion Max Euwe vs Emanuel Lasker (Max Out) (Zurich 1934). A 66 year old Lasker vs Prime Max Euwe, Sac of Queen. One of the most Notable games of Lasker.
That was probably all there was to figure out. If Agad paused the video on every successive move, you would probably figure out those moves, just that it wasnt asked. Thats how most of us function, if we use our head, we figure out things, its just a matter of getting our minds in that mode
Black's play kept making me cringe. The dsb belonged on e7 in the first place; I suspect that's barely a ?! in the long run, but since it's so anti-thematic it sticks out. But anyway, Black had queenside play for WEEKS and instead of pursuing it he saw ghosts on the king side. The kid, and almost certainly the man he is now could whoop me 99 times out of 100, but sometimes certain positions are obvious to weaker players if they've got the right elements. Also it's easier to say "this move is a mistake" than it is to carry forward a concrete plan of your own. So I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying.
I’ve got a good feeling about this kid.
YAYYY'
If he keeps it up he might become a top 20 player at least
Bro gonna get farmed to eternity for content. Slump in chess content, 14, 15, 20, 21 year old Magnus
@@thebirdhasbeencharged WHATS WRONG SO?
There is a danger with young prodigies, that their talent will go to their head and they will become arrogant assholes.

Having just watched one it's a worthy game

There's a famous documentary released when he was still a kid. You can see the effort and coaching in it. Even at 14, he was quite famous.
One of the best games I ever saw on this channel
Type "Rubinstein's immortal game"
Should get a Brilliancy award.
This 14 year old will be one of the best in near future
a bold prediction come on, he's only 14. how good could he be? he'll disappear into the chess ether.
Hes not even that good, relax
I also feel that. I hope this 14 year old boy will become a world champion one day.
I could see him be co-champion at best.
@@jannatty583that's not nepo dude. Know your grandmasters
Magnus was once 2500? 🤯😳 I thought he came out of the womb rated 2800!!! 😄
Haha 😂
Simon Agastein the co-winner of the tournament represented Norway in both chess and football (soccer). A rare talent!

AND, THE FACT THAT EACH MOVE IS EXPLAINED SO THOROUGHLY MAKES 'A CHERRY ON TOP\
Very good suggestion..
That Tal quote. Damn. 🔥
I read somewhere the Quote meant they had an opportunity but missed it and all they can do is capitulate in anger . Maybe you have a clearer definition?
What an amazing game. Really explosive gameplay from young Magnus
MUCH THANKS, AGAD FOR ALL THESE VIDS IN THE PAST!!!
I love this because I often wonder about the rise to fame process
This kid will get drunk and still dominate a chess match 💀
magnus is becoming a a playlist on agadmator. we are all aging.
This Magnus kid will be a world champ one day
Come on, bro. There are Kramnik, Anand, Leko, Gelfand, Ivanchuk. No way to become a world champion for this kid.
joint world champ*
I always enjoy a middle-of-the-board checkmate! 👍🖖
Getting the pause the video moment feels so good
I understand the reference to Tal but this looks more like Andersens Evergreen game with so many sacrifices.
Excellent attacking game
Magnus be dripping and looking like justin bieber in that photo the chess pop king
Well he was called as justin beiber of chess in 2013 and even before😂

“And you, young Carlsen. We will watch your career with great interest.”
waiting for my cat to make the move :-:
Im a time traveller, this Magnus kid ends up being the best player the world has ever known
This kid got potential , I hope he has a nice future
This was definitely the Kasparov training flowing out of Magnus
It reminds me at that age, I also had 14 years
Three Pause The Video moments full of possibility! Ravishing game indeed.
Lol I found all the moves (pause video moments, and all the 'sacrifices' Magnus did) that Magnus played!
Another magnus video
don't know why but today's quote gave me a nostalgic feeling
That was an awesome match
This kid has the potential to be a world champion.
This kid may have a bright future
This kid has a future

can you start a video seried based on themes, for ex: attacking games, defending games, endgame conversions etc.
Nice explanation
I'm not sure I want to win by ravishing my opponent. Well -- maybe a *few* of them.

Great game!
This kid’s got potential.
I saw Rh4. I also saw the sac and Bc1, but could not figure out the rest.

Oh, I know a guy named "Sune". He's a very "huggy" drunk. He's from Sweden.
Kid got lucky, I don't think he's a future in chess
He’s got no future in the game of chess. Trust me, I’m rated 1000
Vicious!
Are we certain he wasn't high? He was a teenager afterall.
Where is the guy with the “yapping stops” timestamp in these videos
The loser later became a fantastic chess puzzle composer!
I just made a comment as to what or how the other kid did later on in his career.
When he used to love chess.
Can you show the game were Carlsen draw against Kasparov??
This boy got some potential
I wonder what happened with the other kid, does he still play chess, or he decided after this game, i will play something else 🤐
❤❤❤
Magnus...
Instead of magnus old games let analyse chess champions old games.you can cover some games of euwe-alekhin or magnus-anand games
If Magnus got to play the 17th-ranked player for the title, he would’ve been champion at the age of 14.
No one ever GETS anything, you have to earn it. He didnt, so its just a case of ifs and buts.
❤
whoa
Pure luck, will never be heard of again
6:54 Rxe6 is very interesting as well no

Was Magnus able to wear the big boy pants okay back then when he was fourteen? Or did he insist upon jeans as a 'matter of principle'?
