You don't divide it by the number of semesters, you divide it by the number of credit hours!. If you did 2 semesters, your not supposed to divide it by 2, you're supposed to divide it by 6.

Simple is that For example you have 5 subjects and your gpa in it are 4 +4+4+3+3 =Which is 18 Simple 18 /5 = 3.6 I mean no going for long process Sgpa And cgpa for example till 6 sem 4 Then =4+4+4+4+4+4 = 24 / 6 = 4, Its very simple

The answers is same if we add all of gpas of all semesters divided by number of semesters. then why we waste time on this method.
