Thank you for the video. I want to start selling lip balm in my fragrance company, Faith Fragrances so of course I turn to TH-cam to learn how. Your video is very easy to understand and doesn't bombard viewers with useless information. I really loved the last part about the bees. Both my husband and I know how essential bees are to the world. I have liked and subscribed your video and can't wait to have the time to watch them all. Chapstick is a big seller at the honey tables. It has a high price point, is easy to make and doesn't cost too much in materials. Thanks for watching and commenting. I have plans to make some videos on candle making from molds and beeswax soap. Probably later in the summer when there's less beekeeping-related things to talk about :)

Great video.... where do you get your beeswax where you know it is 100% beeswax if you don't have your own cappings to melt? I notice you are using the pellet type beeswax?
It's my beeswax. I use a cheese grater to shave it so it melts faster.

How long to cool mixture before pouring
If you're pouring into those little glass jars, then you don't have to wait at all. If you're letting it cool to 170F so you can add an essential oil, then you can pour it immediately after adding the scent. If you are not adding a scent, then you should wait until it is 160F or cooler. Check the containers you purchased to see if they have any warnings as well.
What if you wanted to have a honey flavored lip balm? Use real honey? Artificial flavoring. Btw, I have watched so many of your videos. I’m so impressed with your knowledge. And! You are beautiful. I’m going to be doing this 100%! I’m in West Tennessee. Today is June 6 2024. Should I wait until next year at this point?
