Hi Boot wizard another great video! How do these compare to the tekela which one do you prefer im debating between them. Also do you know if this messi f50 with hybrid touch is a one off or more hybrid touch f50s are coming?
I'm not totally sure if there will be more but I'm not expecting more. Or at least not a lot more. Kind of like the Predator Roterio and the fusion skin. As for which one is better, personally I probably prefer the Tekela but they're both great
Hi Boot Wizard, thank you for this Video 🙏 Do you think Messi’s Adidas F 50 pro is a good takedown model for the price or it is not worth? Thank you Edit: I mean the hybridtouch upper. Is it almost the same as the elite version or just something not worth buying
Could I ask how you compare the toe box and mid-foot with Adidas Predator Elite (Lace) version? I’m wearing Predator Elite in 7.5 US Mens and wonder if I should get the same size on this boot. Thanks much for the review!!
A lot of people have gone up half a size in the predator. I'd say there is more room in the F50 it's not as low and pinched. So it really depends on how the pred fits you
Hi James, is your true to size based on UK sizes? In the same UK size Nike is actually 5mm longer than Adidas when talking about the JP size, when represents the length.
If I say true to size I always am referring to your true to size in that particular brand. If you're comparing Nike to Adidas then I go half a US size down in Adidas meaning that you're correct, it's both in a UK7 which is .5cm longer in a Nike boot. I find this gives me the best fit most of the time. I find Adidas boots as a huge generalisation tend to fit me slightly better length wise but I absolutely can't wear half a size smaller in most Nike boots without it being wildly uncomfortable and giving me foot cramps. Hope that helps
@@Uthuwankanda not sure who you're responding to me or the original commentor, but anyway, I've found personally that while the US sizes and the cm or JPN sizes do indeed match up between Nike and Adidas I actually get a better fit going for a US 8 in most Nike and a US 7.5 in most adidas. Adidas fits me perfectly in a US 7.5 most of the time (new F50 is a great example) but a US 7.5 Nike is unwearable for me (tried on a few boots including the previous mercurial (v15)
Hi James, I am wear a 7.5 us in mercurials, a 7 us in gx and gx2, and 7.5 us in mizuno Morelia neo 4, should I go with a 7 or 7.5 us with these? Quite confused.
Depends on the type of FG soleplate you're using and the style of FG, you might be fine, in general you have a higher risk of injury that's the side effect

Therefore the 'correct' or 'right' pronunciation is actually very close to how I say it considering the origin and country. So, your comment should read "bro say Adidas how I want you to say it" because actually, I am saying it right.

I completely agree! Outsole is a must I absolutely miss it from my 15.1 Messi - thank you for the quick video
Hope you enjoyed it, I know not everyone wants the 10-15 minute tech video.
Excellent comparison James! But can we discuss the craftsmanship on that goal 🔥
Sometimes you just gotta make what you need 😂😂
Even with this video I’m debating on buying the Messi f50 pro or regular f50 pro😅
Both good options for take downs 👍👍

I use Messi Boots for many years, I never have any problem but I think the heel stut is too high for this one.😢
Totally fine if you're on an FG pitch i would say.

If there is some creasing in my football boots is that a problem
Depends where it is. Creasing across the midfoot area is totally normal.

Hey Boot Wizard, does these have that inner padding in the toe box upper like the original 2014 f50s had or is it thin as the hybrid touch 2.0s?
Kind of like I was saying about the materials, it's like a hybrid touch 1.5, not quite the same as 2014 and definitely not as thin as the Predator

From what I've seen, I haven't tried the TF it's either the same or very very similar
