It’s essentially impossible to make a winning trade without some market manipulation or insider knowledge. I remember one trading firm did a research study on that and found 99.5% of skilled traders with degrees in mathematical fields or computer science failed in picking trades which were ultimately successful.
I prefer to have the facts from trusted sources, a personal advisor with little to no ethical misconduct or experts in the field over the figures and opinions of influencer traders.

Hi Stanley, I watched your video on “which Malaysian banks should you invest in” in which you uploaded 3 years ago, and I am now curious for your opinion on which public listed companies in Malaysia I should invest in 2024 :) (I am a student in a foundation program, and one of the subjects I am taking is introduction to finance)

Hi. Thanks for the question. I think for most new investors, it might be easier to start with low cost ETF and as you learn more about investing and analysing a stock, you can expand more into buying individual stocks. Because investing is very much about having confident in the stocks we own, and at the beginning our confidence level is low (or unrealistically high) which is not that good when owning stocks.
So better to start passively and learn more about the process
      Good luck!
