I think he has the tools. The negative comments are silly. He’s a great product for Denver. Fans are behind him and so is his coaching staff. Think we all can feel the positivity from Bo. Just want Denver to be competitive again.

Maybe year one but definitely not overall. He’s the most pro ready QB in this class, but his ceiling is lower than the others. Teams like the Broncos, Vikings, and Raiders are my favorite fits for him because they don’t have many holes on offense outside of QB.

He may not have the big arm like some other QB's but his accuracy, maturity and his leadership abilities bode well for a successful NFL career. He reminds me a lot of Cousins actually. So I could see the Vikings possibly taking him.

For FBS QBs, Bo Nix has the best passing stats, and Jayden Daniels has the best "dual threat" stats. 2nd place in both categories isn't even close.
But I would say not to limit yourself to FBS QBs, but to look at every available QB, such as John Matocha from DII who you can compare to Tyson Bagent, and Anthony Gordon who you can compare to all the guys he played against, or his teammate, Gardner Minshew, and how he's performed in the NFL.
I have my own QB score, USG%/Bad Play%, and Bo Nix's score this last season is possibly the highest ever.

I don’t get how everyone doesn’t have Nix as QB4. I can understand taking McCarthy over him because of the upside, but no one should be taking Penix over Nix. Nix is the most pro ready QB in this class and probably the safest QB you can take. The flip side to that though is that he’s not gonna be elite. He’s basically Brock Purdy with better tools. He won’t carry a team on his back, but put him in a good system and surround with weapons and he’ll win consistently. If I’m a team like the Vikings or Raiders that have weapons already, I’d give him a look around that late first range (Raiders would have to trade back from #13 or trade up from #44).

P.S. College stats are not an indicator for NFL success. Mac Jones had the great statistical QB season in CFB history and the Pats dumped him for a 6th round pick.

There are two qbs who i believe will go higher than nix that will ultimately have shorter careers in my opinion: maye and McCarthy. Maye is going to fade out quick. Other than josh allen, i cannot think of one qb who was raved by scouts for being a pure physical specimen with a strong arm who lasted in the nfl. He will bust. And McCarthy never really had to rely on his arm to win games. I get that he had a great winning record but look at who his coach was and the talent and scheme. He will bust. Daniels I believe will be serviceable, mid tier, but he is not going to be great. Of this class, I think nix and williams stand the best chance at long nfl careers.
SOme may not like it but I see him as a second-round pick. He played in an extremely talented offense so you get what you get. Deep ball is not that great and the outs float
