While bagwan can be used to anyone who rises to high consciousness level and realized himself like Buddh bagwan, etc or it used in hindu context when bagwan vishnu take birth on the earth in different forms.
God is western concept.
In india highest form is known as 'prbrhaman'.
Bagwan can never be equal to 'the god'.
Like energy can never be equal to shakti
Shakti =energy +intelligence of its own.
There are many sanskrit and even hindi words which are no translatable!
You can't convert them directly to English.
They must be used as it is otherwise loose its meaning like you just did with bagwan by equating it with 'God'.
It leads to digestion of our culture

I really enjoyed this episode. as a westerner, I can completely understand how she came to love India and her religion that she studied there. it is hard to find peace in this crazy world. I visited Kerala and although I am a muslim, I found the hindu religious chats in the mornings and evenings absolutely beautiful. the place and people were enchanting and hospitable. we have mutual respect for each other and I wish it could be like that for everyone. we must respect each other and all religions. that is my opinion. peace to all people and all religions
