Ummm, they were originally thought to be made as tombs for Pharos but there isnt one tomb in any of them.

There’s no reason to think they didn’t function like the pyramids before or after. And of course there’s no surviving mummies. It was the worlds tallest structure for centuries. Significantly smaller tombs were defaced with extensive efforts to locate valuables buried with important figures - can you imagine how long a pharaoh would last in any of the great pyramids? If they didn’t have the presence of mind to move them like many of the time to say the Valley of the Kings where Tutankhamun was found, the odds are incredibly high following their reign grave robbers would have had their take.
Net, they are it pyramids built in a time when pyramids were built for one purpose. Coupled with the confirmed rampant grave robbing evidence, lack of bodies is just about the least mysterious thing about them. At worst they could be monuments or shrines. But doesn’t feel egregious to say tomb . Just my opinion

The Pyramids were never built as tombs for the pharaohs.

Beat me to it. No mummies have ever been found in the great pyramids. Anyways, as an engineer, agreed. Wasn't built to be a tomb

@Shaggymaest 😂 they wouldn't exist if they were that old. However, they are more than likely older than the 4,000 years archeologists suggest. Considering the megalithic structures and precision in the buildings, we definitely lost some knowledge along the way.

@@beatbox20fmjYes and no. The guy that lived in Florida and built that stone block garden figured it out and he was from Poland originally. The older generations have to truly know but they are very tough to find.

@hydro.pl.27 Well one thing I think we can all agree on is there was a lot more skilled labor than slave labor. Nothing that precise is built with just oversight

Of Corse we start pyramids of Giza, that was first building what was coming My mind when ive think about incrediple man made buildings. The great Fall of China, Statues like Rio's Jesus, Macchu Picchu and The Lost City of Petra are amazing man made buildings. I've never Been in Skycraper But Dubai's Burj Khalifa would Be nice to see and visit there. I would like to Be an Explorer and discover Lost Cities and castles. 🏰🏯
