- Late night video of the I-277 partial-loop around Uptown Charlotte. Includes the I-77 side of the loop. Both inner and outer directions as well as updated views of the Charlotte Skyline.
Video begins on Wilkinson Blvd (US 74) just west of Uptown and then picks up I-277 where it becomes the Belk Freeway. Rain picks up later in the video.

I-277 is a four to eight-lane downtown beltway that surrounds Charlotte center city. Starting at exit 9 on I-77/US 21, it goes northeast, in concurrency with US 74, to Independence Freeway; from there it goes northwest, in concurrency with NC 16, back to I-77/US 21 (exit 11). I-277 is signed both north-south and with inner/outer directions.
I-277 is one of three ring roads serving the Charlotte area, the other two being Interstate 485 and Charlotte Route 4.
The Charlotte NC skyline always looks stunning at night. 🙂

Definitely one of the better skylines in the country for sure imo. It's a great skyline during the day, but Charlotte's "night skyline" has to be top 10 in the country for sure.

I'm sure the traffic is way more congested than that. Its light like this due to the pandemic right?
Yeah. This was Sunday around midnight. Almost everything except for gas stations is closed by that time so no one was out.
Yeah and also the pandemic has slowed traffic etc down and it hasn't been normal traffic since April of 2020
@@murph9159 post-pandemic (it is still going on) everything has opened back up and traffic seem like it got worser
