As a die hard FSU fan and alum, this is exactly what we deserve. The way we acted after the snub was embarrassing. Don't get me wrong, college football is broken and I think Kirby Smart articulated it perfectly after the game. I believe in Coach Norvell and what we're doing going forward. Georgia chose to make a statement and they did. I hope we learn from this. I feel so bad for these players. Georgia and Kirby Smart showed why they're Georgia. Much respect to the Dawgs. Go Noles.

They showed up and competed till the clock said 00:00 and I tip my hat to them. Kirby is right...something needs to be done. The difference in culture tween the two is deep and apparent to all. We could have laid down but decided to show up n make a statement. I just wish the game was more competitive but a win is a win and teams are going to know we mean business in the post season. @@PastorOfMuppets74it's not a culture thing at FSU. I see both sides. I'm a Longhorn fan and we didn't deserve to be there. The fact that 2 teams who lost jumped an undefeated team is wrong. FSU deserved that 3rd spot. That 4th spot was up for debate but FSU deserved #3. Tell me, why should they play a game that doesn't matter? Tell me, why does Michigan and Washington deserve to be there? They have the same record as FSU. So why was only FSU snubbed? FSU beat LSU, Clemson, Florida, and Louisville who are all great teams.

    • @PastorOfMuppets74

@@pimmyflores8739 I disagree completely but that's cool. The only team that you mentioned that was good was LSU, not sayin the other teams couldn't have won. I understand FSU's position. I'm on their side in that conversation. They SHOULD have been in the playoffs. But they weren't. I could complain about UGA, but I definitely understand why we were left out. To me it comes down to this...and anybody who's played football at a higher level should know...that's not a "meaningless game". That's just something the media keeps throwing out. That was the Orange Bowl. But bk to my point, to compete with the guys who have sacrificed all year, are injured, seniors that will never play again, etc etc...you don't abandom them. You should be chomping at the bit to get to help your teammates and compete as a team, as a brotherhood again. No games are "meaningless" in that regard. I said a culture issue bc clearly FSU whined and complained and there were talks about boycotting by the Uni n the team took a victim hood mentality. I understand being upset about it but you pull together and try to compete. You should want to compete. I could say a lot more but I've already written a book. That's my opinion. It's just an opinion, but that's football to me. If someone disagrees, fine. No problem with that. Take care. BTW that was a great comeback. Y'all almost pulled it off. Great game. The Natty should be interesting

I’m already tired of hearing ppl say we as Georgia fans can’t flex this win! If fsu would have won or the score been closer to like 30-17 they would be bragging about how they showed out with their B team. Idc who you do or don’t have if you beat a team by 60 that’s something to brag about. This also says a lot about Mike and the culture he’s created for the fsu program or lack there of! How are they any better than michigan in 2021 or Tennessee both teams having a great offensive year until they ran into UGA . So having success in the regular season against mediocre opponents in a weak conference doesn’t mean you would have been great even at full strength. GA could have made the same excuses. There’s a huge cultural difference in these two teams . FSU keep talking about playing together and being connected but they’re not . IMO, The brotherhood of the DAWGS came together and focused. The remaining players at FS were so disillusioned that they simply focused on remaining as healthy as possible for next season as college players or the pros. Practice for this game with so many starters missing was basically recruit training instead of facing opposing teams the entire season. Those players that chose to stay and play was a testimony to strength of character. Although the apparent reason given to them for the playoffs was the missing quarterback; the actual loss of additional 15 missing players was a contributor.

Sick and tired of sportscasters, coaches and fans saying "they understand why kids do it," "I'd do it myself if I were them," It's all crap!! The TEAM got the players in the position to be drafted, the TEAM gave them the opportunity for NIL $$, the TEAM and SCHOOL except in 1 in a million athletes help carry them to their success. So the fact that a player can't finish, chooses not to finish and leave his brothers on the field to be crushed is 100% the show of their character. Hearing people associated with the sport, coaches, news, players saying the bowl games are a waste is pitiful; these same people use the bowl games as motivation, often (Huskers especially) gauge a winning season and success on getting to one. The game would have been closer, but the outcome would’ve been the same if both teams were at full strength. Not looking forward to the future as college football is broken. Florida State did everything that was asked. Personally I think the FSU / Michigan match up would be a closer game than Alabama . I think Alabama wins easy. But I also think Georgia beats any team in the playoff. But Georgia’s not in because they didn’t earn it. Alabama earned a conference championship but FSU did more. It came down to money in the end because the SEC draws more than everybody else. But FSU definitely earned a chance.

The team proved people wrong when they won without their QB, they pulled together and overcame so many adversities and deservingly earned their right to prove how good they were against Michigan, GA, and whoever else.....but the CFP made it loudly clear that it is better to cheat, lose with your star QB, than it is to dedicate yourself, commit your self, have respect and loyalty to your team. And for what??? It would make more money to do things this way. This is what they choose to do at the end of the day, is to ROB a hardworking team of their shot, just to make more money. So when FSU starters do the same thing, people belittle the team??? So hypocritical. This game between FSU and GA is a direct result of the CFP committee decision on how to handle things all for the sake of a dollar. Kirby was right, it needs to be fixed. Sadly, i feel it wont. Proud of you FSU. Go NOLES!

UGA is obviously a far better team than FSU. EVERYONE knows this. Yet FSU keeps crying about not getting what they “deserve”. UGA hasn’t been crying about anything. UGA manned up. The CFP is for the 4 BEST teams, not the 4 most “deserving” teams. No team is entitled to anything. Coach Norvell keeps sending the wrong message. I’m not sure why this mediocre team feels so entitled. ACC was incredibly weak this season.

Weak, IMO. Just weak coaching, team culture, and excuses. I'm so grateful for Kirby, our players and coaches and the culture we are building. GO DAWGS!

FSU embarrassed themselves with so many opting to skip the game. CFB needs to do more to ensure players play

Been a SEMINOLES fan for as long as I can remember. This was embarrassing. All props to the Georgia Bulldogs, they were ready to play and to make a statement. Personally, I dont understand how they were left out of the playoffs??? Yes, I know what happened with them losing to Bama in the SEC title game, but Georgia is one of the best 2 teams in the country. Georgia rolls Michigan, Washington, and Texas, just my opinion. To the kids who showed up for FSU, hold your head up, you at least showed up for the game, unlike a few others who opted out. I wont give names, but you know who they were. This will seriously hurt recruiting!!! NOLES fan till I die. Hey, at least we beat our 3 rivals this year so thats always nice. Yes, talking about you Florida, Miami, and Clemson. Always nice making sure Florida stays home for bowl season. I dont know where FSU goes from here, but its obvious that were a second tier team with what happened against Georgia. Hopefully, they get it right next year, and try to make a run. Go SEMINOLES!!!!

It's simple really. The ACC is and will always be a basketball conference now let the big boys play for their championship .

Zero pride sitting that many out. It was disgraceful. That’s why they got left out, it was a charachter issue with that program…can’t. E proud of mailing it in and not compete. They had a chance to prove they really deserved to be in and they showed us their true character players and coaches. I’d be ashamed as an FSU fan…

23 FSU players opted out of playing in the game from what I read. Not even the same team with 2nd and 3rd stringers in there.

UGA has 27 players injured or transfer out but they made no excuses. Bowers, Mims, Thomas, Mondon, Dumas Johnson, to name a few. Not a UGA either

Both teams had 27 players not play, UGA’s best player Bowers, both starting MLB and two upper classmen MLB not play, true freshmen CJ Allen and Wilson did work on FSU, starting WR, starting Left Tackle in Mims to name a few that did not play for UGA. All these excuses and talk about brotherhood and connection of the team, is hilarious
