I appreciate your explanations thank you for the good video :). Been watching you for a while and still considering going back to gw2, haven’t played in years though. Would reaper be a good class to main? Or would core necro or rev be a better option? I like to play classes that can “carry” in a way. Thanks again!
Thanks for watching I really appreciate it :-) Reaper and necro overall are pretty solid to play in many games and since you can play dmg or condi you can swap around for any needed encounter. A carry class in gw2 is not rewlly given there are each season some professions that overperform until they get nerfed and currently the strongest should be power renegade with dwarf/shiro stances high mobility decent dmg output and great sustain.
Great video and tips. One correction to note about reaper trait's 5% of melee range damage as healing: it only heals while not in shroud, so healing works well with greatsword, but not so much with ranged weapons unless you are standing in melee range to your target, and no healing at all while in shroud. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching could be because I was not really interested in testing it out especially with vampiric presence leeching hp durin both reap and normal form
For PvP mostlikely thief and rev but since both ain't in good shape I prefer alltime playable profession warrior where you can play either core or the expansion builds :-)
@@HappyNoMi What do you mean they're not in good shape? Revenant is still meta, and arguably the strongest class overall right now. Recent patches did nothing to fix this. And thief is still a great roamer, and can carry really hard in mid to high plat in certain comps/maps.
Nice fight! Although I always found myself playing against more bunker/supports with soo many resses like ele glyph, guard signet and guard signet. What kind of comp/counter would you pick for that?
Thanks for watching :-) Reaper is really strong againdt those professions you mention you gotta keep track on the supports once you downed someone so you can interrupt their revives with corrupts/CC's combos especially if enemies trigger stability before using signet well of corruption for example will transfer stability into fear and enemies will get interrupted automatically.
@@HappyNoMi Bad balance shouldn't justify a gamemode being gimped or underdeveloped. Balance could even be separated if needed. We already have 2v2 and 3v3 in the off seasons and I don't think anyone is arguing that they're bad for the game (just that 5v5 is better if we had to choose), infact I think they're more in favor of having them in the base game as an option because they provide something fresh and new aside from 5v5. The fact of the matter is not having more than 5v5 puts Guild Wars 2 behind in the competitive scene compared to other MMOs like WOW which has many different kinds of PvP modes. Which it SHOULDN'T be, because Guild Wars 2's PvP is hands down the best mechanically speaking (most fluid, diverse, and complex combat system). More content is always better when it doesn't affect other content and comes at little to no cost for the devs.

congrats for the baby!
Thank you it's almost 1 year old by now :-P
Nice vídeo, buddy.
If tou dont mind... If u could choose only onde class for PvP, which onde would be? And which specialization? And for pve?

Is this anything like guild wars 1 random 3v3 arena? That was some of the best mmorpg pvp imo.
Another correction: life reap is the 3rd consecutive reaper 1 skill, not the reaper 5 skill.
can be :-P

What is your keyboard and mouse using?
Logitech g403 and logitech hyperion mouse
This game needs more than 5v5 for conquest
Well that would be not a good idea because of class stacking it would be a mess to have 3-4 necros on enemy team and renegade stacking
