I love your tutorials! You explain everything thoroughly and show us clearly what you're doing via good camera shots. Thank you for such valuable and practical content.
Great video. I’m a sewer and sometimes make bags so these are great ideas. The video, including the sound are quite good, so I don’t understand some of the comments you got. The white background is very helpful. I also recycle old zippers from skirts, etc. the older ones tend to be really good quality. I don’t craft a lot but I am surprised at how expensive simple little items can be and you can often get them from simple things around the house with a little knife-how. Thanks.
Another fun one Jan. This will be our craft for the day with my 7&8 year old grandbabies next week. I have thousands of buttons they love to play with, perfect! Thanks.
I actually just brought some cute buttons from Hobby Lobby and I wanted to add to some zippered pouches.....now I have some suggestions......thank you Jan
Great vid!!! I got a ton of little plush strawberries from a yard sale that I wanted to turn into zipper pulls but I ended up pulling the darned things right off the cording with my method. This video is full of good tips. Here’s one of my own: fabri-tac can easily be removed from most surfaces with acetone! I even got it out of a nylon fabric. It may matter if you get it before the 24 hr setting period. Thanks Jan!!!!
Revisiting this tip and will be making a few button pulls. After all, who doesn’t have a button bin! Really love your up-cycling tips too Jan. When I had chickens, I made quite a few tote bags from livestock and bird seed bags. Great fun and a quick make.
Love your video. Gave me lots of great ideas. One question - how many strands of embroidery floss do you use? I've tried all 6 but am having a hard time managing them even after waxing. Is it just me???

I love these zipper pulls, but I wish the camera were closer in. I have a hard time seeing exactly what you're doing. I love the button pulls!
Sorry about that.

I would use at least 4 strands.
I find that running the threat under a hot iron after waxing it makes the wax stick with the thread.
thanks for sharing
Great idea ! What kind of glue do you use ?
Check description. There is a link there for you
How do I make a wristlet strap for a zippered pouch?
Sorry, I don't have a tutorial for that yet. Great idea though.
