They aren't bad scopes. I own the 6 x 24 x 50 illuminated scope and have it mounted on my .223 Rem Savage bolt gun. The only problem I found is that the center of the reticle doesn't stay centered when you adjust the ocular lens. I've been able to work past this issue by not rotating the focus setting one it's set for me.
I got a Vector Hugo 4-16x44 and a West Hunter 4-16x44 off you near Christmas, all I can say is I'm well impressed by both but especially the West Hunter being my first FFP, at first I was bit unsure of reticule but its pretty lovely in action, only minor issue is I wish I knew you was getting in a IR version of it :p
Thanks for the feedback, the westhinters.do a good job for the money and are pretty hard to top... The new T-Eagle.6-24 is another scope that's worth a look
I recently heard about the idea of rifle scope magnification for various yard ranges. What do you think about this? Do you use a fixed (3x, 4x, etc)? Or, do you use variable power scope (3-9x, 4-12x, etc)? Speaking only of non-electric (NV, Thermal, etc) glass optics - What is the best magnification for various disciplines? Pigeons/rats/mice inside 25 yards Small game at 25-50 yards Ground squirrels, rock chuck, etc about 50-75 yards Coyote, pig, etc. approximately 75-100 yards Deer out to 150 yards (Keeping in mind that we're using air rifles with sufficient power for a clean kill)
I use an older BSA Meteor MK2 i am on my second scope in the last 2 years both have suffered from the double recoil of the Springer Rifle will those handle the Springer action
I have a Hawke 3 - 9 X50 AO mildot scope on my 40 odd year old Webley Vulcan .22 Springer, The 4 bolt, 11 mm rail mounts (supplied) haven't moved at all (Scope & mounts from Drapers, £65 + around £5 postage from memory) It's all the Air Rifle scope you'll ever need. PS - RWS Superdomes go through the Vulcan really well.
I would suggest the best scope to go for for your meteor, would be a Veyron 10x44 fixed mag or a WULF Fireball, with a lifetime warranty and springer rated... premium-quality-air-rifle-accessories.ecwid.com/WULF-Fireball-3-9x40-AO-Half-Mil-Dot-Reticle-Rifle-Scope-p488938526

Illuminated reticle is always a nice touch

Very nice scopes I have one and a great company to deal with
Thanks for the very informative video sir. I was wondering if this scope would withstand a rifle I purchased in .223 Remington.
