Know this is a few days late-ish but would recommend the CruiserImproved mod by DiggC (on Thunderstore). Fixes a lot of issues with the company cruiser and was coded by my friend. Fixes a lot of bugs and adds features such as being able to look behind you, a higher seat so you can see past the absolute garbage of a windscreen, stops Old Birds from knocking you out of your seat when they fire missiles at you etc. to name a few. Also a little trick with the manor/mansion map, the doorways lead the way to the exit. Basically the way the door opens points towards (when opened) leads to main entrance, there's also a subtle built-in hint for the frame. Basically the bumps that the frame has. If it's tucked 'in' that's the way to main (creatures like a U shape, with four ish bumps), if it sticks out (making like five bumps) that's away from main. Sorry if that's hard to explain, would just recommend looking at the door-frames and studying them when you get the chance. Only works with the mansion/manor map as the doorways are randomly generated in Facility/Factory. My bad if you already knew of all this, just wanna help out
If I remember correctly, as long as you do not move your mouse anywhere, meaning you do not look in any other direction, the Nutcracker cannot see you and fire on you. Or was that an old version?
