    Finally somebody does a breakdown of these fans, great video! I've been wanting to buy the white ones because of the faster rpm's and wanted to paint the housing, but didn't know if they could be taken apart easily, well now I know, Thank you!

      @@Soooperspeed Thanks! Yeah, I may have to end up going that route but we'll see. I have the EVGA 3080 Hybrid kit coming soon, and was going to mod it by replacing the stock 120mm fan on it with a LL120. Either I'll figure it out, or I'll be out $100. lol

    • @Soooperspeed
      @Soooperspeed  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blacksadify totally possible .. the fans use the same sort of motor so they should retro fit with some effort .. if not you can always use a controller and set a fan curve on the motherboard or even in icue with a commander pro .. possibility's are interesting :)

    • @Blacksadify
      @Blacksadify 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Soooperspeed Yeah, I planned it out a bit, so we'll see when it gets here. I also ordered a regular size fan power to mini size GPU fan power adapter, so the GPU should theoretically be able to control the RPMs. It also looks like you can unscrew the stock mounted fan, so I ordered a 3D printed 3 pronged bracket that would screw in to place the substitute fan. The RGB I'll have to run to the back to control the RGB most likely.

    For anyone finding this, LED model LED IN-PI33TBTPRPGPB can be used to replace individual LEDs. As long as the problem LED is on the outer ring, it's pretty simple to remove the ring as shown in this video, unsolder the bad LED and solder a new one one.
    For QL Fans, replacement LED IN-PI42TASPRPGPB
    For XD5 pump, replacement LED NeoPixel Mini 3535 RGB LEDs w/ Integrated Driver Chip Product ID: 2659
    I'm guessing the XC blocks use the same as the XD5 pump, but I have not confirmed this.

      @l0ngsh0t_ag 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Soooperspeed yup I figured that out, I had an old LL140 and I used that to test the disassembly. The central PCB cannot be removed without complete disassembly as it cannot be lifted from the chassis without disassembly of the gear.
      Also on the LL140 fans, the plastic outer ring is held into the fan chassis by pressure clips in each corner. I could not get this off. I think it would require clips to hold the pressure points, as the ring simply will not lift off. ** I followed the method you showed but I wonder if the pressure clips underneath have bigger "teeth", which is stopping it from simply lifting off.
