Honestly the loss of the game really damaged the popularity of college of football amongst kids and teenagers
College football remained popular regardless of this game. I preferred when Gamebreaker and 2K were still around, and there wasn't an EA monopoly on the college football video game market. NCAA has been my preferred series since '99 on PlayStation, but EA makes better games when it has competitors. The last few editions of NCAA Football were just EA lazily releasing the same game with updated team ratings and graphics.
@@Zenigundamwe use to get a different madden and different NCAA every year. Completely different. We've had a reskin for over a decade. I'm praying for just a solid game with all the modes, fleshed out!

I don't even watch college football, but NCAA games were always legendary football simulators that were practically unmatched. I still play NCAA 14 regularly. Very excited for the return.
Crazy to think I was an 18 year old freshman at the university of Idaho when the last one dropped. I was a football player and remember when we sent our roster/data to EA.
Glad to say I’m still alive and well to see them make a comeback ✊🏽

My dad owned most of the college games.. he loved playing as Nebraska cornhuskers always did season/franchise mode, rarely let me touch the games in fear of fucking up the disc we ended playing a season together taking turns each quarter. Unfortunately he passed couples years ago not being able to witness the return of this game. I have to get this game and play a season for him!!

Finally!! I kept an old 360 around just so I could keep playing 2014. I’m currently running the 2023 rosters thanks to some dedicated fans who create downloadable custom rosters every year. That’s the dedication this game has earned and here’s hoping they recognize that with the new design.
Yeah for anyone interested, look up CFB Revamped. It is amazing what they have done with the game over the years. Tons of new uniforms, implemented a playoff system, gameplay changes, and on and on.
Yay! now we can spend too much money on College Football Ultimate Team instead of JUST Madden Ultimate Team! Now we can have a lazy remake every year that has LSU and Alabama in it instead of just the pros! Woohoo!

It can go really well or really poorly. Madden is the same game year from year but also that lets it build up a billion gamemodes into it and I'm real scared there ain't gonna be a lot of them in the New Game From Scratch one

Reason there isn’t gameplay is all of the teams sent in videos and music that plays during the game and their actual stadium. They are doing their absolute best to replicate those in game for those schools and their fans
