Hey Alphonso, I bought your book yesterday, but it will take some weeks to arrive at Brazil. Can't wait to read and get my pens going! I follow your videos since 2015 and I am very glad with all your teaching. Thanks man.

Alphonso, I know you hear this all the time, but thank you. Thank you so much for all of your videos and information you provide to this TH-cam community. You explain things so well and thoroughly that I'm actually understanding how to create on my own, instead of relying on others' art.

Thanks for the tips. I recently make a point of practicing drawing trees. I'm interested in how you would render a tree full of fruits (like a lemon tree). There are too many objects (fruit, trees, a lot of branches) that I don't know how to make them look 3D.

I have always been put off drawing trees with detail because they never seem to look good but listening to you & watching this video has made it look easier. If I can just apply what has been shown, mine will look what I want them to look like... trees.

This helped so much! An even harder challenge to me seems to be a large leafless tree. All the interweaving little branches and shadowplay, how would you approach something like that? Mine often just look like leafed trees, because the bunched up little branches start to look like clumps of leaves.

Great video as usual, and the quick tips text and numbered hints are a great addition to your videos. You may have already noticed but there are a couple of mistakes in the texts at 4:40 and 5:50. Don’t know if you can do something about it now, and it doesn’t take away anything from quality content you’ve given us anyway. I have your book and looking forward to getting the workbook, really grateful for these videos
