I haven't seen one of your posts in a while, so it was great to "reconnect!" I learned how to knit at the start of the pandemic and it's been nice to follow along as my skills improve and I'm less clueless about what you're talking about. Thanks for having such a friendly, low-key presence in the knitaverse, and for sharing your life with us!
thanks Gina... it's been a difficult week...appreciate your upbeat and friendly podcast! I have several projects going as usual. Knitting is my place to decompress...can't imagine life without daily knitting! looking forward to seeing you again...in person would be super fun!
It is amazing how many sweaters you can knit in a short amount of time! They are all beautiful. And that smoky purple of that shawl, I just want to use it for a sweater it's so beautiful. I can't decide which sweater I like the best, they are all beautiful. Thank you for sharing it all.
I'm loving your podcasts.. your special yarn is so gorgeous all those bright colors would make beautiful socks. I do enjoy listening to your life experiences and Inventing Anna gets better each episode. Have a great weekend !!
just found your podcast. you are just the person to listen to while knitting. so down to earth and says whatever. love your sidebar stories. but I have to admit, I like my rustic wools, I live in Northern New Brunswick, where it's damn near winter 3/4 of the year. . but I agree no place in sockwear. now to catch up on your previous videos..
Great to see you again. I'm sorry to hear about your friend but really glad that you talked about him and showed the photo of him. My first husband died when my children were little. Yesterday was my eldest son's 25th birthday so I often think about how lucky I am to have seen all three grow up and how sad that he didn't. Looking on the positive side, I have a wonderful second husband who got to see my kids grow and two lovely stepsons who I got to watch blossom into wonderful young men (but their mother sadly didn't). This is life - sad and happy, lucky and unlucky.
I love your Junko sweater. It’s beautiful. I always enjoy your podcasts. My sons both attended VT, so I love the Blacksburg connection. It’s a great place!
I love your podcasts so much - you are so real and I love that about you. I love your yarn too! I was able to get some of your "Special" and I'm so excited to find the perfect project. I watched 'Bad Vegan" and I can't believe how such a seemingly smart business woman became so 'sucked in" by a man. I mean - loan someone money -ok but to keep on doing it knowing you're not going to get it back?? I keep my money TO BUY YARN! Lol. I can't wait for the knit a longs too! Hugs from Texas!!
Super enjoy your podcast! Gina speaking of Daniel Craig if you haven’t already you need to watch “Knives out” it’s been out for quite some time and such a fun cool movie.
Hi Gina. Love your podcasts. You are a fast knitter! Thanks for the tip about the cords at Michael's. I found them (by Creatology ..it was hard to find).
Love the art teacher's reaction. It is funny. Re: rustic wools. Back in the dark ages, when I started using wool yarn, they were all rustic! I had to learn ways to soften the wool to wearable. I think that rustic and superwash each have their place. It took me years to come to that conclusion.
Interesting, I’ve never really looked at the inside of my ribbing before. But now that you mentioned it, I looked at it and I like the inside (wrong side) of mine better too. Thanks for the tip!
Loved this episode. Your projects are beautiful! The last raglan, the one you thought was going to fade, is very pretty even if it is not coming out the way you expected.
Love the sweaters. I use the True flavor packets too. I think its cool that the teacher was surprised. No one is truly gone till you no longer remember them.
Love when you do videos, you just cheer me up, like a nice chatty visit. I have to grab my knitting ( just a vanilla with some Opal I picked up for guy socks) and a hot cup of coffee and then turn on the vid. 🥰 Love the projects you finished, so rich and pretty, you knit soooo fast.👏🏼. So here’s what I have experienced…I’ve worked in various areas of healthcare over a 30 yr. period , some of which was in palliative care where I have sat with numerous people who passed away while I was there. A lot of them seemed to look up( some even with closed eyes) and smiled. I have no proof of what is beyond this life, no one knows definitively I suspect but those smiles lead me to believe I will be met when I go and death can’t be terrible or people wouldn’t die with a smile on their face. I have felt the spirit go, I have experienced the spirit , energy, or whatever you want to call it, near me at times. I have even received a “ message” , a knowing that just hits me out of the blue that can only be explained as a message given to me to pass on. Mind you only a few times and some others I couldn’t verify so didn’t pass on. So yes I do believe those who have passed on are around us, when we think of them and talk to them in our minds and we think of an answer they might give us, they are there when we need them. If you’re still , in the dark works best for me, and open your mind up to receive then you just may make a connection. I’m not crazy, don’t think I’m a clairvoyant, don’t go around telling people this generally but you really wanted to know. 🥰🙋🏼♀️
Love this! Thank you for sharing! 💖I truly wish my Dad had smiled before he died… that would have meant the world to me. Sadly, it was horrific and deeply troubling. But I appreciate your experiences…. there is still so much about our world and the multiverses that we don’t understand. And probably never will. 💖💖💖💖
@@theskeincocaine I didn’t try to contact your dad but what most people want their loved ones to know is that they are happy, it was their time to go , they had met the goals they had chose to meet on earth and it was time to go. They all, every one want those they left behind to not waste one second feeling bad, that life should be celebrated and we should enjoy it. The best way we can celebrate them is to live life to the fullest, help others, be kind. Pretty basic stuff really but it does make sense. They say they are with us as though a veil is drawn between us and them and they are often near us, especially in times of sorrow or trouble. Your Dad and your friend are no doubt with you, called to you when you need them so enjoy life🥰🙋🏼♀️
Omg! she rocks 🎉🤗 I’ve just knit my first sweater and it’s stunning. The Ranuculus with 1 strand of petite mohair and 1 of (I forget name - some fancy pants merino 2 ply soft merino. It’ is, as all you knitters say (and now I get it) “Glorious”
Very interesting yarn in the shawl you are inventing- looks like animal print. The striped sweater you are wearing is amazing- I might have to give it a try. My daughter is turning 45 this year and she has a 1 year old and a 3 year old. My mum was 41 when I was born- experienced parents make great parents (just more tired parents- lol). I am new to rustic yarns, as I generally can’t wear them against my skin, but the finer wools seem a bit easier to wear (just a lot harder to afford on a limited budget, as a senior). Thanks for a ver6 interesting podcast!
Severance is so good! I can't wait until season 2! Also, I agree with you that they shouldn't call it "sock" if it doesn't have a blend that would actually be good with socks!
I'm late to the freakin party! I see the lump on the back of the shawl on the designers page. I also see the curling . Drape?. The lump is a no can do for me, but your yarn color and fabric is stellar. It will be very a very luxe feel for certain! The" Don't Look Up" sweater - those colors are just gorgeous! Your work is very nice and so even! Have a fun summer!
That’s so interesting about your ribbing bc I like the wrong side of my ribbing better as well but I never thought about Turing it wrong side and knitting in the other direction but I’m going to try it. Thanks! I totally understood your intro as my son graduated from VT and it’s a lifelong thing.
Wow! All your finished sweaters are so lovely! If only I can finish knitting my first sweater, it will be a miracle! I’ve knitted over forty dog sweaters, yet I can’t knit myself a sweater. I am knitting the Goldenfern by Jenn Steingass. I never knitted short rows before. I about to split for sleeves and was interrupted with knitting dog sweaters. Can’t wait to hear about your knit alongs! I hope I can knit it and join. Yes, your daughter’s art teacher shocked that her student’s mom is Skeincocaine is really funny! Thanks for sharing, happy knitting! ❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing all your lovelies! Those sweaters 😍! Since you are not able to attend Maryland Sheep and Wool, join us for the James River Yarn Crawl starting on May 13th! That would be lots of fun. I am agreeing with you about the Metamorphosis yarn. I think the sweater is not what you wanted and either your going to fizzle out before completion or you will hate it and never wear it. Maybe that yarn would make an interesting Musselburgh hat? I am not sure, but go with your gut! Thanks for another great podcast!!
Keep talking about your shows! Some people just love to get upset about the littlest thing and you can't please everyone! I watched Bad Vegan and got to the end and checked her Instagram. I felt like she was in on the swindle and got caught then made up this whole innocent lamb b.s. I've been watching Julia Child on HBO. Love Sarah Lancaster as Julia. Loved the Gilded Age. Not much else has floated my boat, so I'm glad for your recommendations. And your knitting and your funny stories about your life. XXOO
“75 other sweater wips” 😂😂😂 I did the pressed flowers shawl too and I was sure I’d die of old age while working on it but I made it through. Probably only because it was a gift and I wanted to give it to my friend. It’s a huge shawl
Brilliant idea for the knitting cords! Love it! That’s happened to me as well with the shawl neck area. Actually also with a cotton lace shawl I once did as far as thinking I knew it by heart and didn’t read the whole pattern! Lol! It happens! That’s how we learn. Lobbed the sweaters you’ve done and are working on! So so pretty! Cheers’
Oh Gina, you made me cry when you spoke of Tracy. I don't think the psychics are real either but I truly hope that I am wrong and that you can get some contact. I love your podcasts and there is no need to promise timelines. It is just lovely when they happen x
Hello from California! My daughters have recommended the Hulu series called The DropOut. Since you are on this swindling kick... I really enjoy your approach to podcasting. I sit and knit and laugh. Doesn't get much better.
Hi! Love your FOs & WIPs! Totes understand why you'd go see a guy that might be able to communicate with our loved ones. I lost my BFF in Nov 2019, and remember something awesome about her every day. Not because I'm actively trying to... I think sometimes she might be sending me nudges. 😃❤😇
All your sweaters are beautiful. I like challenging myself in knitting also. I haven't been knitting too long, and have mostly made socks, but I am trying sweaters ( with colorwork!! ). It's been challenging, but fun. I think my next challenge will be toe up socks. It's so funny that your daughter's art teacher follows you on instagram. I don't watch TV too much, but will check out bad vegan.
You totally crack me, with the funny shape of the shawl pattern, the art teacher’s reaction, the funky color of the supposedly fade yarn, your first husbands bad behavior and people getting mad about ruining tv shows. Keep it up love how real you are in this crazy world. Oh and the cords you purchase at Michaels, hilarious
Love you jumpers I’m amazed at how quickly you knit them. I’m also knitting with the Uneek sock yarn ~ I also find it a bit splitty but it’s not too bad on my sharp needles. I’m also knitting cuff down and so have the same problem ~ so I’ve decided to just knit a tube and when I’ve run out of yarn I’ll put in an afterthought heel and then do the toe. It does mean I’ll have the heel and toe in another colour but I would do that anyway. I have heard from one knitter that they don’t end up as long as the photo (maybe their model has thin legs 😂🤣) Looking forward to the next instalment on your Malabrigo jumper.
So many fun WIPs! I agree with you about the malabrigo. That’s odd. Your approach to sharing spoilers…I agree. If it’s within 6-12 months tread lightly but after that, it’s fair game. Absolutely about having a mini LYS in our homes!!
Why is it that the TH-cam shows I enjoy the most come on less frequently? I guess it just makes us appreciate you more! I liked your comment about choosing a sweater pattern that would challenge you in order to keep your brain sharp. A friend recently told me that we need to learn four new things (daily? Not sure) to keep the synapses active and avoid dementia. I immediately thought, “I’ll just use knitting to challenge myself.” However, my recent sweaters have been the Love Note and Anker Summer Shirt. Easy, but at least they haven’t caused frustration. 😊
thank you for the lovely visit. I could not finish that metamorphosis I just couldn't I absolutely love your makes. I tried making socks with the uneek sock and ended up ripping and gifting it. the splitting was driving me nuts if i could find a way to communicate with my dad i would take that chance for sure I lost him 26 years ago and it is very hard to think he is gone forever i dont watch tv, but I am happy that you find enjoyment there. i am knitting a laurel sweater using holst supersoft a heavily modified lovenote a lovely tee by Kimberly McAlindin a cabled cardigan (currently in time out as it was a very bad choice in yarn) and trying to finish an acrylic baby blanket for someone who passed.
You don’t watch TV!? Do you listen to audio books while you knit! I’m intrigued! Thank you for sharing your WIPS with me! Lots of good ones! Thank you for watching! 💋💋💋💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I really like that you tell the truth about if you like or dislike something , instead of just praising everything cuz you want more free stuff from dyers,😂
I think you are more accomplished and beautiful than you give yourself credit for. And I understand your perspective about hope…..that those we loved are not gone forever.
Believing in Jesus gives comfort in knowing that there is eternal life after our human death, where we will be united with those that passed before us! Enjoyed your podcast! I’m looking forward to md sheep and wool. I’ve missed going to yarn festivals and buying lots of yarn! I’ve started getting into more wooly yarns but still love the sw merino. Doing a half and half triangle wrap now in merino linen. Boring knitting but good for television knitting
Always so happy to see a new episode from you, Gina! ❣️ I have knit a Félix pullover but cropped, and I really liked your long ribbing, so I think there's at least one more in my future. Phooey on the whiners who bit*h at you about spoilers. 😈 I love hearing your thoughts on what you are watching and absolutely LOVED the Righteous Gemstones! Had never heard of it till you mentioned it last time and have now greedily devoured both seasons and waiting impatiently for the next one. Thank you so much for sharing a bit of yourself with the rest of us. So sorry you lost your friend and totally am with you on the whole gone forever thing. How amazing to think that maybe they aren't, but really hard to make oneself believe it...😢 Yes, every day here is a true gift, and filling the days with luscious yarn and beautiful projects is the cherry on top of life. ❣️
I was so looking forward to spying you at the MDSWF this year. Thanks for sharing your yarny adventures. Your sweaters are gorgeous. I am almost finished with my Brioche Chevron blanket by Westknits. I have been working on it for 2 years! There have been other FO during that time. There is some Skeincocaine yarn in this monster. I have to bind off because it is just getting to heavy to flip over when I change sides. 😂
I think the art teacher following you on Instagram is funny and awesome! And you are not the only one that splits the uneek yarn. It was splity and I don’t find them to be my best wearing socks. I think maybe because it too soft it makes it fuzzy?
Love your sweaters Gina! I was curious if you follow the suggested positive ease recommended in the patterns you knit or add more? I like how some look slightly oversized and wonder if you have any suggestions? For example your pink velvet sweater is stunning and the actual pattern looks very fitted. I prefer yours. Thanks, Jan
I don’t do a gauge swatch (horrible!). I pick the medium size and go for it. Some sweaters are too big… some are too small. Don’t be like me! Knit a gauge swatch! 🤣💖💋
So happy to see you again. I’m presently knitting on my Willa. Love your FOs and WIPs but I can totally understand what you mean about the malabrigo. It really does look more like an animal print than a fade, and I can tell you are not in love with it. Maybe you can use the yarn in a different project. Anyway looking forward to a MAL with you. I’m hoping it’s with using one of your baby grands😉😍 So sorry about your best friend- I really hope he sends a sign….
I really appreciate your honesty when you review patterns and yarn. I have always stopped short of getting the Uneek sock yarn because like you, stresses me out to not know when to start heel and to maybe not use all the yarn. The Malabrigo yarn is disappointing. Maybe it would knit up differently for a project with a smaller stitch count?
Love love your podcasts - always such fun time for me!! What’s happening with pressed flower shawl :)? I just got my skeincocain kit for it and ABSOLUTELY in love with colors - had to cast on immediately!!! What gorgeous colors - thank you sooo much for them!!! xox
Gina you need to watch Surviving Death on Netflix. My father passed away over 10 years ago, and as an atheists I believed I would never get to see him again. But after watching this mini series I asked my dad to send me something very specific and about a month later I got it (a jar of glass beach appeared outside my house). This experience has completely opened my mind to the possibility that some part of him is still with me. There is one kinda hooky episode about spirt mediums, but i loved the rest of the series.
Gina, I hope you are watching Daniel Craig movies other than the Bond movies….they are great but he has done some interesting stuff outside of the Bond experience……like Layer Cake, or what about The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo! And I’m sure you have watched the Knives Out…..such a reach for him LOL!!! I came back after watching the end of your podcast…..your Dad/friends are not gone forever…..because you think about them and they are part of your life :)
Enjoy Casino Royale- that's our favorite! Let me know what you think of the last Bond. I have my thoughts. I'm on the body of Don't look up sweater too. Slowing down but I think I'll really love it. Love your Midori Sweater- looks beautiful! I would also fix my fridge if you love it. No chance you'd get that quality now. I miss our old fridge. They're never gone. They are with us - Kimberly
@@theskeincocaine lol. And hopefully that came off like your friend and family who passed are still with us and not our old fridges 😂😂😂 take good care! Kimberly
Try weighing the heel to toe weight from a sock of similar composition, subtract that from the uneek total and that should give you enough to plan the stripes.
Also re the shawl, similar to the mare shawl. The hump will flatten after blocking. To be sure you like it, string it onto a long nylon cord, stream it, then decide 🤔.. love you🤍
It is funny! I’m sure she felt like she was teaching a yarn princess! I know how I look at my favorite dyers and I’d rather meet you than a movie star! 😂
Love the art teachers reaction! I just ordered the highland wool skein - beautiful! Watched inventing Anna and enjoyed it … now I’m intrigued to watch bad vegan! I watched Ozark and now I think everyone is into money laundering…. 😂😂. And yes … Alec Baldwin if you’re watching … 😂 … will be watching for KAL details. Thanks for the inspiration to my knitting …💕
Thanks for the TH-cam visit Always an enjoyable time. I prefer non-super wash wool. Old school fiber designer jumping into knitting after 25 years in web design. Until next time!
This was the BEST! Fastest 49 mins ever. First off, the yak base is like... holy moly I need all of it.. your skeincocaine name is so appropriate. I am an addict and must have it. Unfortunately our CDN dollar sucks compared to the US, plus with the shipping, cocaine is probably cheaper. LOL. Hope you get called Boner at the Tyler event.
Fun as always. Bad vegan 😱🤯 wtaf… it was awesome!! Innocent or just dumb/naive who knows. I think she was looking to be rescued, she seemed tired and lonely but maybe a touch gold diggerish!! Inventing Anna - loved it. People are fascinating, thanks for the fun. Tinder swindler coming up soon 💪🏻 love the knits 🧶🥰
I lost my husband 4 yrs ago after being married for 50 years and the thing that makes me sad and sometimes angry is that he is not here experiencing the things I have since his death. I just can't quite get past that .
Yes, I watched the bad vegan, inventing Anna and the Tinder Swindler. I just don't get it either. Some people are so gullible!!! Enjoyed your podcast!!!
I am in for all your NetFlix shows. I have watched them all. That bad vegan one, dang girl she knew he was a scammer at some point, but by that time she was in too deep. I can’t believe your sweater is knitting up like that it totally looked like it would be a gradient. I loved this episode. 💕💕💕Marie. Oh hey and I have heard that Tyler Henry is legit. Hopefully he gets a message for you or something.
Love all the projects...but I think if the "fade" is so disappointing you should stop right now....you could be knitting on something that brings you joy 😊. I'm so curious now about your Pressed Flowers since that is on my list for this year. Thank you for sharing about your friend....my 1st husband, my soul mate, died almost 15yrs ago. I don't know what I believe in, but it would give me comfort to know he's still around in some way.
When do you update your yarn in your shop???? I’m new to your videos went and looked at your shop but most everything’s out of stock. Would love to purchase so many of your yarn. Please give update ????
Yes, Urth sock yarn is splitty, not buying it again. Watched most of Anna and I can’t believe how gullible some people are! I think your Tosh yarn is fading, it’s just heavily speckled. Take a photo of it and you can see the subtle fade so far. Keep on keeping on. What does happen to us after we die? I had an out of body experience once when undergoing surgery…
I guess there’s more to the Sarma story. She’s been on a few podcasts and there was some editing by Netflix that didn’t portray everything that happened. Coercive control is a horrible thing. She was interviewed by the couple that were in that Nexium cult, they go into some stuff that wasn’t show on the show. I wouldn’t call it a documentary if there are facts missing from it.
Love the story about your daughter's art teacher! MUST disagree about Alec Baldwin, though. I would gleefully turn his sorry ass down. Love seeing your WIPs, that white one is stunning.

Thank you for watching, May! 💖I just had a thought… I’ve never knit a dog sweater. I wonder what Buddy would think if I knit him one. 💋💖💋💖
@@theskeincocaine He would love it! With your uber knitting talents, he would be the best dress dog in all of Virginia! 🙌
Cheers’
Also loved life after death! So so good! Watching more of newer episodes of call the midwife! We have to live and enjoy each day!
Gina, although we live in opposite parts of the world, I feel that everything you say resonates with me! 😀 Love your podcasts, 😘
Oh Gina, you made me cry when you spoke of Tracy. I don't think the psychics are real either but I truly hope that I am wrong and that you can get some contact. I love your podcasts and there is no need to promise timelines. It is just lovely when they happen x
Love your yarn and your podcasts. Crazy about the yarn. Thanks for sharing whenever you get to it. I appreciate you. 💕🌸
Hello from California! My daughters have recommended the Hulu series called The DropOut. Since you are on this swindling kick... I really enjoy your approach to podcasting. I sit and knit and laugh. Doesn't get much better.
Thank you Kris! I’ll put that show on my list!!! 💋💖💋💖💋💖💋💖
Hi! Love your FOs & WIPs! Totes understand why you'd go see a guy that might be able to communicate with our loved ones. I lost my BFF in Nov 2019, and remember something awesome about her every day. Not because I'm actively trying to... I think sometimes she might be sending me nudges.
😃❤😇
I’d love to think your friend was sending you messages… sorry for your loss! 😔But thank you for watching! 💖💋💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💋
Love my special ❤ and loved the 2 minis that came with it! Knitting another sofie scarf.
So excited to see you back again. Knitting socks here. Looking for a pattern to knit my first ever sweater. Will definitely be buying a baby grand
Try Flax by Tin Can Knits or the DRK Everyday by Andrea Mowry! 💖💖💖
Love the update!!! Could you show us some yarn that you dye in the future?
You totally crack me, with the funny shape of the shawl pattern, the art teacher’s reaction, the funky color of the supposedly fade yarn, your first husbands bad behavior and people getting mad about ruining tv shows. Keep it up love how real you are in this crazy world. Oh and the cords you purchase at Michaels, hilarious
💋💖💋💖💋💖
I am with you about 100 % Merino not being good for socks. I tried it, it took one time wearing them and I had holes right away. Never doing it again!
Thank you for joining me, Sally! 💖🥂🍾🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️
Anker summer sweater and Love Note are both in the queue… 💖Thank you for watching, Cathy! 💖💋🤗💖🤗
thank you for the lovely visit.
I could not finish that metamorphosis I just couldn't
I absolutely love your makes.
I tried making socks with the uneek sock and ended up ripping and gifting it. the splitting was driving me nuts
if i could find a way to communicate with my dad i would take that chance for sure
I lost him 26 years ago and it is very hard to think he is gone forever
i dont watch tv, but I am happy that you find enjoyment there.
i am knitting
a laurel sweater using holst supersoft
a heavily modified lovenote
a lovely tee by Kimberly McAlindin
a cabled cardigan (currently in time out as it was a very bad choice in yarn)
and trying to finish an acrylic baby blanket for someone who passed.
You don’t watch TV!? Do you listen to audio books while you knit! I’m intrigued! Thank you for sharing your WIPS with me! Lots of good ones! Thank you for watching! 💋💋💋💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
@@theskeincocaine I listen to audio books and I watch youtube channels that interest me.
I really like that you tell the truth about if you like or dislike something , instead of just praising everything cuz you want more free stuff from dyers,😂
I’m working on my first tubular cast on for a hat- using your words about exercising my brain to keep going.
I think you are more accomplished and beautiful than you give yourself credit for. And I understand your perspective about hope…..that those we loved are not gone forever.
I love the look of the malabrigo! Glad to see you!
Hey Kimberly! 🤸🏻♀️💖🍾🥂
💋💋💋
I’m all in for whatever KALs you have upcoming! Looking forward to seeing you again at Rhinebeck! 😎
💋💋
Thank you Janet!! So glad you loved the Righteous Gemstones! It’s such a funny and clever show with brilliant acting! Have a great day! 💋💖💋💖💋💖💋💋💖💋💖💋
I’m sure I’ll be there next year… have fun! 💖💋💖💋🤗💋
Yes!! I've also noticed the ribbing looks better on the wrong side and done likewise.. mmmmm grapefruit flavor!
I think the art teacher following you on Instagram is funny and awesome! And you are not the only one that splits the uneek yarn. It was splity and I don’t find them to be my best wearing socks. I think maybe because it too soft it makes it fuzzy?
Yes! It’s soft! But not sturdy. 💋💖
The teachers reaction, made me laugh. Such a good reaction🙂
I’m hoping it’s with using one of your baby grands😉😍
So sorry about your best friend- I really hope he sends a sign….
😍😍😍 I love knitting with you!
You really are… a friend to knit with! 💖
The Uneek sock yarn was very splitty for me as well. I think the picture on the box was accurate though...it's been a while since I knit mine.
I will totally feel like you are a bestie when I finally get to see you in person.
That’s what I kept thinking! That if this was a sock, would it be a cool design? 💖
Your sweater that you are wearing is beautiful! First time watching your podcast. I am from Iowa.
Hi Sheri! 💖💋💋💋
Love love your podcasts - always such fun time for me!! What’s happening with pressed flower shawl :)? I just got my skeincocain kit for it and ABSOLUTELY in love with colors - had to cast on immediately!!! What gorgeous colors - thank you sooo much for them!!! xox
Thank you Natasha!!! My shawl is temporarily in TIME OUT! Nothing serious… just… 🤪🤪🤪
Gina you need to watch Surviving Death on Netflix.
Great episode! I am working on ‘festival sweater my size’ by petite knit. Almost finished with the second sleeve 😊
Hello again beautiful! So good to see you again and enjoy your vlog this evening! Hope to see you at Rhinebeck😊
Hello back gorgeous!!!!! 💖
I do love Daniel Craig in Flashbacks of a Fool now that was a great movie and soundtrack.
“I miss our old fridge… they are never gone…” omg Kimberly you are a HOOT!!!! 💋💋💋💋💋
@@theskeincocaine lol. And hopefully that came off like your friend and family who passed are still with us and not our old fridges 😂😂😂 take good care! Kimberly
I saw Daniel Craig in Macbeth - it was amazing! Incredibly bloody of course, and kind of weird, but amazing. Enjoy!
Try weighing the heel to toe weight from a sock of similar composition, subtract that from the uneek total and that should give you enough to plan the stripes.
Also re the shawl, similar to the mare shawl. The hump will flatten after blocking. To be sure you like it, string it onto a long nylon cord, stream it, then decide 🤔.. love you🤍
Great fun. Thank you Gina xx
Lovely sweaters Gina
It is funny! I’m sure she felt like she was teaching a yarn princess! I know how I look at my favorite dyers and I’d rather meet you than a movie star! 😂
🙂🤗💋💖
Love the art teachers reaction! I just ordered the highland wool skein - beautiful! Watched inventing Anna and enjoyed it … now I’m intrigued to watch bad vegan! I watched Ozark and now I think everyone is into money laundering…. 😂😂. And yes … Alec Baldwin if you’re watching … 😂 … will be watching for KAL details. Thanks for the inspiration to my knitting …💕
Love your Rai Rai!
Frog it if you don’t like it. I also found the urth sock yarn splitty.
Love your podcast
“That guy Tyler” - you need to watch the Amazon documentary on him! I didn’t believe in that stuff til I saw him.
I lost my husband 4 yrs ago after being married for 50 years and the thing that makes me sad and sometimes angry is that he is not here experiencing the things I have since his death. I just can't quite get past that .
I totally understand. 😔
Very nice thank you 😊
Yes, I watched the bad vegan, inventing Anna and the Tinder Swindler. I just don't get it either. Some people are so gullible!!! Enjoyed your podcast!!!
Lol “Home of the Fighting Gobblers!” The algorithm sent me here
I am in for all your NetFlix shows.
Just put my shawl in time out. I’ll get back to it! I’m determined to finish that damn thing! Thank you for watching, Sandra! 💋💖
When do you update your yarn in your shop???? I’m new to your videos went and looked at your shop but most everything’s out of stock. Would love to purchase so many of your yarn. Please give update ????
I’m going to add links and update my website today! So sorry! Thank you for watching, Kelly! 💖
Knitting lots of socks. Gina, we will gladly see you when we see you. Stay safe.
Thank you, Ardrena! 💖🥂🍾
I live in Brooklyn, New York City!!!! :)
Maybe your shawl is knit from the bottom up n the lump is the bottom of the curve
Netflix….Life After Death with Tyler Henry. You may feel differently if you watch.
Love the story about your daughter's art teacher! MUST disagree about Alec Baldwin, though. I would gleefully turn his sorry ass down. Love seeing your WIPs, that white one is stunning.
Thanks for keeping it real…🤣
