It's a command of prophet Muhammad ( sal).
“Whatever the Prophet orders you, do it, and whatever he forbids
you, leave it!” Soorah al-Hashr (59): 7
Study usoolul Fiqh then you will come to know how to determine fardh from Quran and Sunnah InshaAllah
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "أحفوا الشوارب وأعفوا اللحى" ((متفق عليه)) .
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Trim the moustaches and let the beard grow."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Mashallah 😊
ALLAH IN CAPITAL
The explanation by Sabir Ally is most plausible and satisfactory. A good Muslim ought to be known by his Taqwa or level of God consciousness not beard alone. The angels in the grave would know that very well. I know many scoundrels under the guise of the beard. Keeping the beard is however highly recommended for the good Muslims
You need taqwa and tawakkul. You just don't want to look religious which is why you don't want to have a beard. You are ashamed to look like an actual muslim according to the ahadith. Just own up already
In Egypt the millitary service is compulsory and your forced to get a clean shave (Egypt is a Muslim majority country mind you)
the leader is corrupt I believe

In country like Singapore upon reaching the age of 18 it’s mandatory for us to serve the military, and it’s compulsory for us to get it clean shaven.. so what’s the advice on this? to reject them will mean being charge by the goverment
you should fear akira more than government
If it puts you in danger, from my knowledge, it is okay to do. But the moment you are no longer in danger the you will have to follow as normal
Migrate
Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has overlooked for my nation their honest mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are forced into doing.”
Source: Sunan Ibn Mājah 2045
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

Do not burden yourself if it means life will be harder to handle if you migrate not according to me, but Islam
So even within this compilation of talks, there is dissent.
Shabir Ally is the most right and clear
How come ? Make u easy ??
Nope. You are just looking for an answer that suits your desires.
If it wasnt a command, wouldnt the Sahaba also take it as optional?
@@ToHimWeWillBeReturnedthe prophet said dye ur beard dont look like jews or Christians. Did the sahaba dye their beard? Not every sahaba did
@@shahadathussain5774 wrong there is no ijma on beard. Imam shaafi said its makruh to shave. May allah guide u for lying to the ummah by saying all scholars say its fard. There are msny scholars who says its sunnah dont even try to spread false information do u not fear allah?
1. No,it is not farz, please do not misguide people. Show hadith or verse from Quran where it says its farz or even wajib, not interpretations like Bible where Jesus God based on interpretations? If we only rely on interpretations, we end up like Christians.
2. If one of main purpose of growing beard, according to hadith, "do opposite of what mushrikeen do", with same logic, if in today's society all mushrikeen grow beards, that means we need to do opposite, which is shave, isn't that fulfil the hadith?
In conclusion, it issunnah, bwcause prophet (SAW) did it, like he did many other things, but it is not sin if you don't do it, (prove me wrong with facts from hadith and quran not some explanations. )
Thank you.
It is fardh you are mistaken
In sahih bukahri in the chapter of clothing our prohet says leave the beard and trim the mustache so you cant touch the beard or shave it which is haram
All the imams and sheiks agree it's a fard and you who doesn't even have 1% of their knowledge say its not fard? Whom is more trustworthy?
I agree 100%…….the Koran would have said it was Fard….and I actually don’t care what these Mullahs say, Allah knows best, and He will decide what is sin or not…..and the Koran is our guidance….not some “hadeeth” captured 200+ years after the Nabi pbuh….

How it is farz? I don't understand
Its not farz, its sunnah
@@talash-haqki2583 But so many scholars say its Farz ,they are giving logic like Prophet Muhammed has commanded to keep the beard that's why they are saying its Farz.
@@AbdulAziz-lo9ob it is fardh
@@shaheerhassan480 no it’s sunnah
@@Cousinbiddy1 sunnah can be wajib/obligatory. Sunnah aren't always things that are mustahab. He can also say something that is obligatory
So confusing who to follow 😢
What is confusing akhi?
Most of them says yes, no? It should be clear by now akhi. Insha'Allah
It is fardh
May Allah make the deen easy for you and guide you.

4:55 LOL who is this guy? Water down Islam more if you want to. It IS a command. All 4 school of thought agree on the beard being a wajib
If it's not a commandment by Allah in Quran it's not Compulsory (Farz) then it is not Haram (Forbidden) to do the opposite. So, it's a individual choice to sport a beard as an honor, but if an individual chooses not to then no harm done as it is not made compulsory by Allah through his Commandments in the Quran.
I think we should focus on Quran instead of Hadiths, otherwise we stand to drift away into the same confusions and conflictions as our Christian Counterparts have done so in the past.
Let no Book Except Quran Guide Thee.
Why are so many of them saying it , are they extremist Muslims?
If our beloved prophet says we have to do it we do it. You just don't want to. Everyone expects the women to wear hijab and niqab what is right but if a mean has to do a small thing they say "yeah but..." Come on
@@egorex7735 yea not mandatory to wear it
@@Cousinbiddy1 it is wajib
@@egorex7735 I say it’s sunnah instead
It’s absolutely not Farad because it’s not a command . It’s great if a Muslim keeps beard but it is not mandatory and Quran doesn’t enforced it as a command .
