    I imagine that many others in my age group, (I waa ten in 1991) who grew up in Cubs' nation will agree, Ryne Sandburg was damn near a superhero. Classy dude, bringing up Santo and Dawson

    Ryne Sandberg was such a class act when he played and afterwards as a manager. Ryno was our only true bright and shining star in the 80's and also the best in the 90's. I have met him twice and I have some great pic's of him. I felt like a little kid meeting my biggest hero even when I was an adult. Thank you Ryne for doing everything the right way. Your still my favorite player ever among greats like Rizzo, Bryant, Contreras, Dawson ,Sutcliff and many more Cubs greats. Thank you for all that you did for us Cubs fans and the game of baseball.

    Best speech ever! Play the game it should be played and have respect. Act like you been there before. Ryno makes these new showboats dancing in the dugout and whatnot look like a bunch of little kids. Id take guys like Ryno, Biggio, Schmidt, Ozzie, among others over these guys any day. Baseball was better then.....

    Yes, players need to be real players again. Hit for avg! Steal, hit and run, move a runner over. The game isn’t good anymore. Hitting 220 or so is embarrassing

      Actually I think this is one of the greatest speeches I have ever heard.
      Something up there with what F D R or Winston Churchill have said.
      And then it really hammers it home to know what type of character Rhyno had as a ball player

    • @randylargent5579
      @randylargent5579 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He’s a base ball player. His actions speak louder than words. It is actually a great speech. He’s very humble and has respect for even the people he didn’t like. Ryno is a true and real role model. Sorry you couldn’t recognize that this is Ryno’s speech.
