この物語は地獄谷野猿公苑の群れの偉大なメス頭（いわゆる女王、メスの序列１位のサル）である「トックリ00」の全盛期を追い続けたドキュメンタリーです。
地獄谷野猿公苑の群れは公苑設立以来、現2023年までの間に8頭のメス頭が存在してきました。
この「トックリ00物語」の主人公の「トックリ00」は地獄谷野猿公苑史に名を残すことになるでしょう。
日本全国のモンキーパークのメス頭を見てもトックリ00ほどの強烈な存在感と個性を持ったメスは存在しないと思います。
トックリ00は世界中に多くのファンを持っています。
トックリ00は8代目、今もなお現存するメス頭です。
トックリ00は2013年にメス頭の座につきました。
私が彼女の存在を知り密着を始めたのは2015年からです。
この「トックリ00物語」はトックリ00の全盛期である2015年～2019年をメインに、その前後も多少含めて展開していきます。
ぜひこの偉大なメス「トックリ00」を知っていただき、この極寒の山岳地帯に今も生きているトックリ00の強烈な生き様をこの「トックリ00物語」で楽しんでいただければ、と思います。

Yeah, I definitely prefer the Tokkuri stories with captions myself and I too believed that he'd just forgotten, but after I watched the videos I was on Instagram for the first time in about a year and I follow him there too, so went to his account. In the translation from Japanese, he was either talking to a commenter or it was in the description that he'd deliberately not added captions. I sure wasn't expecting that! I wish I could remember whether he explained why he didn't add them, but I can't because my memory is lousy, unfortunately! 😂 Anyway, if you have Instagram yourself and you follow his account, the info is on the video clips that he posted today.
I'll watch these Tokkuri clips under any circumstances, but it really, really, makes things more understandable with the captions. Sorry for my long response to you!! We definitely feel the same way about the captions!! Ciao and thanks!! 🙂 🙋🏻♀️
