Sending people to help campaign in a foreign election (U.S.) is surely illegal? Particularly if, as Labour currently are, the current ruling party of another country (UK). I believe it IS at least against U.S. Federal law, and a very stupid thing for a government to do from a diplomatic point of view.
I can't stand lazy, shameless people who falsely claim every benefit they can with no intent to ever go into work. I'm 36 and have been working full time since 18. This includes minimum wage jobs, nothing glamorous but at least its an honest living. I had 2 months where I HAD to claim sick pay after a major surgical procedure followed up with other more minor procedures and I hated being dependent on statutory sick pay. That's all I had. I didn't claim a penny from the government. Just the legal entitlement from the company I work for. Then got back in to work as soon as I was physically able. Nevermind "mental wellness days." If you haven't got a genuine mental disability you're skiving. Everyone knows it. Greedy benefits entitlement culture needs to stop. Don't abdicate all responsibility to the government. Raise your children properly. It would help if we stopped importing cultures that hate us too.
My grandson is 21 has worked since the day he left school & never takes a day off My granddaughter left school in summer She at college full time then goes straight to work when she leaves college till after 10 o clock every night Show young ppl a little more respect!

These commentators don't know what they are talking about.I had to have seven hours with a psychiatrist and clinical psychologist before getting a diagnosis.GPs are not qualified to make such.The same I am sure goes for the other major mental health issues like Bipolar Disorder, Depression, etc. And I can assure you that even in the Support Group of the DWP (where you do not have to look for work) the regular assessment of such claimants is vigorous. I keep hearing, "Oh we are not referring to people like you" but I can assure you that people like me will be lumped in with everybody else when the axe falls. £8 million a day for migrants but none for us. I remember all the demonising comments of people like this and will remember them as bastards.
