- / @youcartv Ferrari introduces its first series production plug-in hybrid supercar, the SF90 Stradale.
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale has a 90° V8 turbo engine capable of delivering 780 horsepower, the highest power output of any 8-cylinder in Ferrari history. The remaining 220 hp is delivered by three electric motors, one at the rear, known as the MGUK (Motor Generator Unit, Kinetic) due to its derivation from the Formula 1 application, located between the engine and the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission on the rear axle, and two on the front axle.
The SF90 Stradale is also the first Ferrari sports car to be equipped with 4WD, a step necessary to allow the incredible power unleashed by the hybrid powertrain to be fully exploited, ensuring the car has become the new benchmark for standing starts: 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 2.5 sec and 0-200km/h (124mph) in just 6.7 seconds. Love how Ferrari is daring to commence an entire new look again, just like they did in 1999/2000 with the 360 Modena. I absolutely love Ferrari designs over the past few years, but for the past few years I have been wondering how much longer they can keep basing their designs on classics from the past. Each to there own . Personally I think the current line up of ferraris is the worst in their entire history , pretty sure they will be fantastic cars but I just dont like any of them just now .

Every time a Ferrari with a new look comes out everyone complains the company blew it and needs to fire its design department. Several years from now the SF90 will be hailed as a timeless design. The Italian designers are ahead of us. They see what's next. It takes us time to catch up to them.

Nah, the 458 Italia is still an achievement in design. Ferrari thought that they could improve it with the 488 but failed miserably. First doesn't mean worst. But this POS is definitely down in the ranks. New mid-engine Corvette looks so much better.

It's a Ferrari, and I love Lambos, but this is not a small or cheap car, it is a FERRARI. Most people talk about design like they are professional designers. Just enjoy what's Ferrari and others really good italians supercars companies create and brings for your eyes (or garage). I love supercars. (sorry if not good english)

SF90? la miglior macchina che abbia mai visto, da qualsiasi prospettiva la osservi è magnifica, ma vista da dietro è quasi erotica, complimenti,questa volta nulla da eccepire,grande lavoro, con la F12 pensavo che lo spirito e la qualità sembravano aver cambiato direzione, questa invece ha il dna Ferrari,complimenti,anche se sembra un evoluzione della 458 a mio modo di vedere, modello che mi colpi particolarmente, credo si possa ancora far meglio, considerando gli sviluppi futuri, ma sinceramente credo ci sia bisogno di una nuova fabbrica che parta dal basso,connessa con la gente, e con tutte le regioni d'Italia,ci sono regioni,città che non vedono mai le ferrari dal vivo, e questo è triste considerando che la macchina è italiana, perchè questa auto è sicuramente italiana ma certamente non degli italiani, visto che non se la possono permettere, ad esempio nella mia regione, nella mia città se ne vedono una o due, portate da stranieri che vengono a passare le vacanze da noi, invece vai in Germania e altrove al centro-nord moltissime persone possiedono l'auto di punta, questo dice parecchio di quanto siamo in realtà ancora un paese povero in via di sviluppo,almeno al centro-sud, per esser chiari fino all'Emilia Romagna, guarda a caso dove ci furono le maggiori incursioni dei popoli del nord e dove i commerci e il flusso delle genti e più marcato rispetto allo stagnante centro-sud.

This is a very subjective thing. Especially when a car has been revealed for less than 48 hours. How many they sell and how it feels and performs is what matters. Also seeing it in person and ultimately seeing how many units they sell.
@@bigjdm5460 No matter what Ferrari pump out, people will buy it, doesn't mean its good looking nor it performs well. they can literally rebadge a pirus and sell it for 100k people will still buy it.
Manco Kwan why is that? Because the 458 was special , even the 488 was a great car, 430 was a great car, the F40 , the racing history, Ferrari makes great driving machines that people are emotionally drawn too. That’s a great thing.
@@bigjdm5460 it's because Ferrari has such a huge cult following that people are willing to buy anything. It's brand imaging and psychology that tells you this, look it up it's interesting. It's almost like a subliminal messaging style approach.
